List of Alan Goldenberg's Reviews
Excellent doctor. Very helpful. I like him.
Dr. Goldenberg is the best caregiver I ever had. I am 73 years old and have had many. I no longer live on Long Island, but I remain one of his patients. I refuse to change.
Terrible "doctor" his staff and himself are the rudest people on the face of this planet. They will not help you. They see you as piggy banks to draw in income for their failing practice.
I have found him to be an excellent, caring and thorough doctor. He doesn't rush you, and he takes the time to answer your questions. I had thyroid cancer. He's very knowledgeable and I feel like I'm getting good treatment. I'm not a fan of his office staff at all though. They're not nice and it's a pain to get anyone to refill a script or call you back. That being said, I've been a patient almost 15 years now because I like trust him.
He’s been on top of my issues since day one!
Frederick "Fred" Albano is an outstanding PA he takes his time explaining your issues and going over any concerns . He truly cares about his patients. He's been both my parents PA since Dr Feiner left the practice. Fred is greatest diabetes doctor on the East End. I even have Fred treating my husband. If you care about the well being of your family and yourself I'd urge you to make an appointment with the best FRED ALBANO! I promise you will always have a piece of mind knowing your diabetes is under control.
Dr. Goldenberg and his staff are very professional and knowledgeable, as well as being easy to speak with, taking time to answer questions and explain procedures. Also, I'm almost always taken in on time which is rare in the medical world!
My first visit was with the NP Anne who explained in detail what my scans showed. Drew blood there which was more convenient that having to make another stop for bloodwork. 2nd visit was with Dr Goldenberg for a procedure which he took the time to explain and was wonderful throughout this uncomfortable time. He says 2 weeks for biopsy results, so we will see what happens from there. So far, I'm a happy patient.
I was diagnosed by this "doctor" at age 7 with hypothyroidism. He kept me on the same dose from 7-19 years old...or his NP I should say because he was always too busy to see me so I've met him 2 times in 16 years. This facility is incompetent and I don't even know how this man still has his license to practice. I am now in the ICU with tumors that cause unbelievable blood pressure (300/180) and after testing positive for pheo...this man has the audacity to tell me that it really isn't a pheo and that there is nothing they can do. Mind you my thyroid levels have not been under control since I hit puberty and their refusal to up my dosage has not only cost me a lot of money in co pays and hospital stays but i am now 23 years old and have been told I can not have children because of the damage these tumors have done let alone the countless other issues I face day to day. This man literally had my life in his hands and he watched me downward spiral and the staff blamed me due to my poor health. Please, if you are in need of medical help for any endocrine disease...please seek help elsewhere because Alan Goldenberg does not care about you or your well being.
I found him extremely nice, the process of getting an appointment was not difficult, and I am doing much better. I go back every three months. Recently the office was painted and I believe they are still working on it. It looks great. The staff is wonderful. I don't have anything bad to say.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
