I had double hernia surgery done about two weeks ago. Dr Chu and her staff were very friendly, and made me feel very comfortable. I had told Dr Chu that this was my first surgery EVER. She took the time to explain to me the whole process of the surgery, from when you walk in to being discharged. A day after my surgery I had gotten a phone call from the Dr personally!! Just goes to show that how much the Dr cares about her patients. If I'm in need of General surgery ever again Dr Chu will be my first choice..

Dr Gloria Chu is an extraordinary surgeon and caring human being. After my daughter’s appendix burst, she orchestrated and carried out a treatment plan that included 2 hospitalizations, an interventional radiology procedure and laporascopic surgery to remove the appendix and clear the abdomen of infected material. She was indefatigable. She was ever-present. She explained everything and answered every question. She brought my daughter back to health. We are blessed to have found Dr. Chu.
