Dr. Labarca was great today. Totally put me at ease with my daughter’s breathing and congestion concerns. Took her time explaining everything, including Coronavirus concerns, and was warm and comforting to my 6 month old. Awesome pediatrician!!

We went to check out doctors before our first was born and we liked her immediately (so much so that when our second was born, we brought our second daughter in to see Dr. LaBarca, too). She's wonderful, friendly, attentive, very knowledgeable, and GREAT with kids (they love her! They yell "HI DR. LABARCA!" when we drive past the office). She always takes time to listen to our concerns, and when we have questions, we get a thoughtful and well-explained answer. We know the kids are getting the best care. She's also researched specific health matters and worked seamlessly with any specialists we've needed to see. The office is fantastic and we love the staff as well! FIVE STARS!

Rude staff. 1 hour wait in the waiting area, 1 hour wait in the exam room. Stony Brook exemplifies the disaster that is government run health care. I will not take my children there again.
