I have been working with Lori for the past 5 years, and the progress I’ve made with my stuttering has been life-changing. She is patient, knowledgeable, and truly cares about her clients success. Lori consistently provides practical strategies and techniques that are tailored to my needs and that I can use in real-world situations. Her guidance and support has helped me to feel more confident, fluent, and able to achieve my speaking goals.

For me, this was not a helpful therapy experience. I personally didn't feel supported, so I chose not to return after my initial sessions. Other therapists have been a better fit for my needs.

Ms. Lori coached me in preschool & elementary stuttering and made me a confident clinician to help these children. I saw changes in my clients immediately when using her techniques. She has combined an evidence based treatment approach with her firsthand knowledge of stuttering which has yielded significant gains for my clients. Her empathy for children who stutter is unmatched and I truly trust her experience as an SLP and person who stutters to know what treatment approaches are effective. I can say the same for her emotional coaching guidance as well. I never felt comfortable treating stuttering until she coached me, and now it's my favorite thing to treat because I actually see changes in the children. I came to Lori in such a state of desperation because my five-year-old’s stutter had become so severe that she was perpetually frustrated and was opting out of talking entirely. And I, of course, was devastated that she wasn’t communicating with me. The progress we have made in four weeks has blown my mind. Margot went from barely talking and stuttering over every word to total confidence in her communication in just four weeks. It’s not that her stutter is completely gone (though it is tremendously improved), but now she feels encouraged not to let it deter her from saying what she wants and needs to say. Lori is such a grounding, encouraging, and experienced therapist and it shows in the way she has taught me how to encourage my daughter as we navigate her stutter and nurture her into a confident communicator.

Lori is the most caring, professional speech-language pathologist whose primary focus is stuttering, PROMPT and parent counseling. My daughter has struggled with stuttering since she began to form sentences. As she was aging, it was getting more frequent/severe and I was growing more and more concerned. I was not getting much help or guidance from her pediatrician and local speech therapy, and I came across Lori from doing my own research on preschool stuttering.
