Brian T. Durkin's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Durkin and his team (Jamie, Kristen) are excellent, skilled clinicians. They take the time to fully evaluate your condition through physical exam and diagnostics. I have been dealing with a condition for decades and have seen numerous health care professionals. No one has helped me more than Dr. Durkin. He utilizes procedures that are cutting edge and not done by many practitioners. The office staff is friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Durkin and this practice.

I didn’t have the pleasure of meeting dr durkin yet however, dr Ross Lipton is the best and most thorough neurologist I’ve ever seen. Highly recommend.

I have had 1 operation on my neck and eight operations on my back, I’ve seen plenty of doctors that say they know what they are doing and they really don’t. Before I found Dr. Brian Durkin I saw this other doctor, wont mention his name but I saw Dr. Jacobs and he should not be working on patience, when I used to see Jacobs he would have to fill my pain pump, he had no clue what was going on he would stick me 5-6-7 times and had trouble doing it. I got fed up from being used as a pin cushion so I found Dr. Durkin and Christen both ar absolutely fantastic I can’t tell you. When I go to see them both for pump refill Christen finds the port on the pain pump first time, which is a lot better than being stuck 6-7 times. PLEASE WHEN YOU NEED A DR. GO LOOK UP DR. Durkin in port Jefferson. The office is fantastic and I look forward to go get my pump filled. DO NOT SEE DR JACOBS IN ROCKVILLE CENTRE HE IS THE WORST. I’m a retired vet 28 years I’ve seen many doctors and this office is the best. SSGT BORGER. Don’t wait go see DR.durkin.

The entire staff is so amazing and will go the extra mile for thier patients. Dr. Dirkin is a genius and an incredible person who will never let you down.....Kristin has taken a page from her mentor and works with so much kindness and concern along with being incredibly informative and you get the feeling that these people really want to help I even recommended my mom and my sister top of the line

I don't usually post or share things like this: I have experienced severe lower extremity nerve pain since a spinal injury 10 years ago. I tried just about every intevention available and none provided sustained or significant relief. After 2 ineffective back surgeries and a spinal infection I was resigned to a life on my couch with nightmarish spasms, watching my muscle atrophy and stuff like that. Thank goodness I found Dr. Durkin and some wonderful professionals at the USB Pain Center. I have followed him to the Pain Institute and while still experiencing pain it is tolerable, I am often found off my couch and planning my next semi-active vacation. What do you say to thank someone who has given you your live back?

Dr. Durkin has provided pain relief for me for the past five years. I began with him related to my multiple bulging disks in my lower back and received three injections several years ago. Have not needed another since then. Recently I have had to receive two injections due to severe pain from a pinched nerve in my neck. Once again I am on my way to being pain free. Dr. Durkin is an excellent and highly skilled clinician. I have been able to place my absolute faith and trust in his abilities and would recommend wholeheartedly.

My Mom was given free samples of a “coated” Advil type of pain med. It worked well. Mom and I called and left at least 4 messages over a span of 2 weeks to advise and request a prescription. Nobody ever returned our calls. Terrible customer service!

Been in pain for years had many epidural shots that never worked took a chance saw Dr Durkin went for an injection that he recommended and I've been pain free for a month now. He is amazing! Many have said his bedside manner isn't good but if he can get you to be pain free who cares cause he did what you went to him to do.

I was referred to Dr. Durkin for pain management. Through combined evaluations with Dr. Liption, Dr. Durkin has provided treatment, which has given me significant relief of severe pain, caused by a car accident in early 2020. Dr. Durkin cares a great deal about my condition and I trust he will continue to provide quality care throughout the recovery process.
