I saw a different dr today and he was horrible.. he touches my bad eye then touches the good eye that's how u transfer omg I wanted to scream left office with no resolve actually told me to go to a dermatologist great no thanks dr fishermen.. unbelievable

I went to Dr. Ronald LoPinto January of 2022. We were still wearing masks and using hand sanitizer. His office is conveniently located at 732 Old Country Rd. Plainview. He is an ophthalmologist who is excellent in his field. The waiting room had the patients socially distanced and also had hand sanitizers. I only waited a few minutes and was called into the testing room. The nurse asked me to place my chin on a stand for the glaucoma test. I asked her if she could wipe the stand with sanitizer. She said she already wiped it but she graciously did it again. I was examined by Dr. Lo Pinto who, of course, was wearing a mask and gloves. It was a great visit with a wonderful and careful team of professionals.

After seeing Dr. Lopinto for months after my cataract surgery and complaining about glare and dry eyes I was put on several cortisone anti-inflammatory drugs. They didn’t help. I was told there was nothing wrong with my eyes. Yesterday, being in more discomfort, I saw Dr. Fracassa who examined me and told me I had MGD. That was news to me after being told for months there was nothing wrong. I guess first impressions can be wrong. Office doesn’t answer phones and is very hectic. Thankfully they had Dr. F. see me after I just walked into the office in pain. My vision has gotten somewhat worse since the last visit. Trying to reach the office again, no one answers the phone.

Dr Lo Pinto, is a very, kind, patient, and he cares about his patients. Ask him any question about your eyes, he is a class act.

Dr Lopinto is an excellent physician and surgeon. He also has a wonderful bedside manner, who takes the time to answer and explain any question you might have. Very knowledgeable and friendly. His staff is wonderful as well.

Dr. Lopinto and his office staff in Plainview are extremely professional. I do not write reviews often, but felt compelled to do so here. I had an acute eye situation that was very concerning to me. Although I live local to his office, I was not a previous patient of Dr. Lopinto, yet his staff was willing to squeeze me in because they sensed my concern. Everyone in the office was calm, nice and respectful. The doctor was intelligent, reassuring and had an excellent "bedside" manner".
