List of Samuel Brown's Reviews
I had one visit with Dr. Brown, and have another appt. this week. Dr. Brown was very thorough reviewing my medical history, kind, compassionate and interested in my complex case. The office staff and techs were very pleasant and efficient. I will not hesitate to recommend Dr. Brown to others.
Dr. Brown is 100% exceptional! I have had pain for years and have seen more than my share of doctors. Dr. Brown is the only one who took the time to really learn about my pain, examine me and made me feel like he cared. After the procedure, my pain has completely improved! It's like a miracle.
Dr. Brown was very thorough and kind. He gave me an epidural for my sciatica. It was like a miracle. That was almost 3 years ago and I am still pain free.
Dr. Samuel is a thorough, caring and astute doctor. My children have been seeing him since they were born 13+ years ago. He has the reputation of being the best in the business and he exceeds this lofty expectation.
Found Dr. Brown to be a knowledgeable, caring person. He spent time to know my problem, then discussed alternate methods of treatment. He answered my questions. His office staff were helpful, knew what needed to be done. Atmosphere was one of happy staff. Office clean. I highly recommend him.
Phone calls rarely returned. Staff makes many mistakes.
I went to 3 other doctors, 2 of them surgeons, with no luck. Dr. Brown really took his time to thoroughly examine my back and hip and determined the pain was coming from my sacro joint which nobody else even suggested! A small injection and I was walking 100% better with no pain! I just wish I came here in the first place. All his nurses are such sweethearts too. Thank you.
very caring doctor. He takes time to listen to us. Each time it is a comfort visit.
Caring, professional and astute in their practice.
Not concerned for his patient. I have switched doctors, there is a world of difference. Dr. Brown seemed only concerned with himself. I told my physical therapist I was unhappy with Dr. Brown. My PT told me he heard a number of complaints about Dr. Brown and gave me the name of another doc. I told my PT that I saw some negative comments about Dr. Brown on line. My PT said that Docs can pay a service to eliminate the negative comments and most of those comments have disappeared since I first saw them. Here is another negative comment. My orthopedic surgeon had prescribed some pain meds. Dr. Brown did not want to renew them. Too much paperwork or bother for him. "That's not what we do here." "That's not what I am about" No problem for my new doc. I have legitimate back problems. I have the fusions, MRIs and EMGs to prove it. I am not a drug seeker. I received one shot from him. When I told him that I thought the shot had no effect, he became annoyed with me. His receptionist in Riverhead is a real witch. If she takes a dislike to you, she puts patients with later appointments ahead of you and Dr. brown goes along with it. They put you in an exam room and let you sit there for a long time while he sees patients with later appointments. My new doc is a polar opposite. She is concerned and took all my MRIs and EMGs. She prescribed some meds and set up appointments for some possible steroid shots. Last time I saw Dr. Brown he was supposed to get my EMG results and call me. I never heard from him. Good riddance.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
