List of Scott ALAN Silverberg's Reviews
This was my first visit with Dr. Silverberg. I wobbled in with severe pain in my left knee, had X-rays, and a cortisone shot, with a MRI scheduled four days later. he was pleasant. The entire staff wS pleasant. I was discouraged because the pain went only from a 9 to a 7, but when I woke up (after an uninterrupted sleep) I felt good enough to walk my dogs. So overall, I'm happier.
I had 2 left Rotator cuff surgeries performed by a different doctor in 10 days. The Dr. made a total mess of my shoulder. i went to see Dr. Silverberg and he said after seeing my MRI that all my anchors were out and i had very bad tear in cuff. he repaired my shoulder and had a pain level of no higher then a 3 out of 10 and needed no pain meds. Dr .Silverberg is very good and asked questions about your health not how your grass is coming in or any other meaningless questions. I want a Dr. not a friend. He is great!!!
The rudest dr. He talked me into trying gel shots in my knees. The medical ins. person Savannah messed up my authorization for the shots 3 times. I finally took care of it and paid a few hundred dollars for it. I had the 5 shots authorized and I was told each time at check out I would be billed an office copay Instead of $40 each visit I was billed s total of $750 which ins company said they could because they billed as medical injections. BE careful, where you go
He was not taking my medical problem serious and kept making fun of me
Dr Silverberg did 2 meniscus surgeries on my right knee. When i returned to the office, still in incredible pain. Dr Silverberg told me i had arthritis and i was not a candidate for joint replacement.I went to a surgeon that said that was ridiculous.I had knee replacement on my right knee November 12th. I am working out on my treadmill and walking my dog.If you are told nothing cam be done . Go elsewhere.I DIDN'T WANT TO LEAVE ANY STARS. THE SITE WOULD NOT LET ME LEAVE 0 STARS!!!
Didn't really listen to me. Insisted I need to get an X-Ray and MRI. He just bought the "latest and greatest" MRI and wanted me to get X-Rays and MRI without even listening to me. I asked if I could go to a stand up MRI near my house, but he insisted I use the MRI at his own practice. I just left. He is focused on money, not caring about his patients.
Dr. Silverberg repaired my right rotor cuff on January 25, 2019. As of today, February 28, 2019 I feel like a million dollars. I am still in physical therapy, but much closer to a full recovery.
I’ve seen Dr Silverberg for many years. I’ve had a couple of knee scopes and periodic treatment for recurring OA pain. His diagnosis and subsequent treatment has always been spot on for me. Besides being an excellent surgeon, I think he’s an all around good guy. Every prospective patient should do their own research and have their questions ready, I have always found Dr Silverberg responsive and accessible.
I went to him for shoulder pain after I fell. He performed rotator cuff surgery after going for physical therapy ,which did not work. I am finally pain free, which is wonderful because the pain was awful and I haven't been able to sleep in months. Thank you for making me feel like me again.
I saw Dr. Silverberg earlier this year for severe shoulder pain. I can only do steroids as a last resort because of my heart. I tried to explain that I felt it was a tare in my rotator cuff, he insisted bursitis, I insisted a tare because I've had bursitis in same shoulder before. Barely looked at my x-rays, gave me injection, did not work, got a call several days later after MRI to find I did indeed have a tare in the rotator cuff. This guy does not listen to you and horrible personality.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
