Dr. Wakim decided it would make HIM more anxious to give my wife a suitable amount of medication during her surgery, after she told him she often wakes up when recieving conscious sedation and may need more. He told her he might give her less but told her she should be able to fall asleep. (Yes, he said that in front of me, his anxiety was more important than his patient's) Even when the surgeon and nurses asked him to give her more because she was panicking and wide awake during a defibrillator replacement, he didn't give her enough to help her sleep through it. I give him 1 ? because he thankfully gave her enough medication so she didn't feel the shock when they tested the new ICD. I wouldn't recommend this Dr. to anyone, anywhere, ever.
