Excellent doctor and such a great bed side manner! It's so nice to be treated by a doctor who you can trust. He performed an endoscopy on me without a hitch. He was very clear and understood what I needed! Totally recommend him!!

As I approach the celebration of my 91st birthday, I wish to extend my deep appreciation to Dr. Hollander for his dedication , knowledge, and interest in my illness for over 50 years. He has truly kept me alive and able to treat my illness. I thank you, Dr Hollander, for the opportunity to enjoy my life. I hope you are enjoying some free time on your boat in the Sound. Just had a colonoscopy with Dr. Hollander. Everyone there made me feel really comfortable and I had an amazing experience.

I was at Dr. Hollander’s office this morning for a procedure. From Theresa making my appointment, to the staff welcoming me and taking my temperature, to the nurses and anesthesiologist, to the nurses after the procedure, each person was as nice and efficient as the last. Dr Hollander couldn’t have been more kind, compassionate and professional. I knew he had checked my chart before coming in, as he was aware of My new concerns from A previous visit with the np and talked with me with True care. After the procedure Dr. Hollander met with both me and my husband and explained things to us. He was patient and again, very kind. A very good experience. A great office and a wonderful doctor.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! First of all, I had some questions about the procedure so before the upper endoscopy I decided to call the office to speak with DR HOLLANDER about my doubts.The lady from front desk told me that DR HOLLANDER will call me but it never happened so I called again and they told me the same thing that he would call me BUT once again it never happened. VERY CARING from the beginning... The day of the procedure my appointment was at 11:15am. When I arrived, front desk told that they will call me around 1:30pm. I was really disappointed and I didn't understand what was going on. Then the lady from front desk told that they will call me anytime. UNPROFESSIONAL! Before the procedure, I had a conversation with DR HOLLANDER that I would like to perform my upper endoscopy with spray throat instead of sedative and he agreed. On the day of my appointment, front desk and the nurse were so confused and told me that it was impossible. DR HOLLANDER came and said that we agreed to use local anesthetic. After all that, I asked the nurse if could have the results today she told me NO until they analyze the tissue. NOBODY told that they will perform a BIOPSY during the endoscopy WITHOUT PATIENT'S APPROVAL. DR HOLLANDER was really ARROGANT when I asked him if we could perform the upper endoscopy without the BIOPSY. He told me that he would not listen the patient because the patient knows nothing and that he is the doctor and he will do it his way and if I want to do the procedure without BIOPSY I can leave right now and find different doctor. My uncle is a Gastroenterologist in Europe and he did my upper endoscopy 5 years ago so I do have some knowledge to be treated this way. I think any patient has the right to ask questions!!! ONLY CARES ABOUT MONEY!!!
