Okay service. Just wish they could keep help. It's always so strange coming back to new faces every month.
Dr. Guigova & her PA Sophia are phenomenal. The level of care, thoughtfulness and reassurance they give is truly remarkable. I am so grateful to have been referred to her for my visit. I was extremely nervous about the whole ordeal but Dr. Guigova and Sophia put my mind at ease and helped me with any questions or concerns I presented. They followed up with me numerous times to keep me informed. The level of care here was wonderful. I would recommend Dr. Guigova and her team 110%. Thank you so much for the quality care for your patients.
Blood and cancer care. The care is great. The staff is very understanding and listen well. The lab department consists of Samantha, Wendy, and Dominique. They are very patient. I also meant Jaclyn yesterday. She is a Nurse. She is very meticulous. The front end is great. They check you in and make new appointments. They are Brittany P., Dawn, Mariana, Claudia and Sabrina. They are very patient. They are the office staff.
Super comfy nice office, professional and kind service, was super content while I had my iron infusion.
Brianna Boehringer the RN taking care of my girlfriend was just excellent! This was her 1st treatment and Brianna explained every aspect as things were moving.Professional with great eye contact and a caring attitude. She will be an asset to any health care organization especially this one! Thank you.
This is not a cancer hospital!! This a Keytruda mill. All they want to do is get you signed up for Keytruda treatment and receive the kickbacks. They missed cancer that had come back in my throat. It was found in time by Sloan Kettering. This place is a fake and a fraud. The founder received his medical license in the Bahamas?? Run. Don't walk from This place.
WHY DO YOU POST NON STOP ON FACEBOOK BUT BILL PATIENTS FOR SERVICES THEY NEVER HAD WITH PROVIDERS THEY NEVER SAW!? When will you ever call back a patient? How many messages to billing does it take for a patient to get a call back?!
I received numerous bills from NY Cancer and Blood Specialists, which was confusing since I've never been. I was wondering how they could even get my insurance information without me giving it to them. I spoke to a terrible billing employee who kept hanging up on me and giving me an attitude instead of trying to solve my confusion. He even called me a liar and told me he had my license on file, so I was 100% at their facility. Completely false. After doing my research and speaking with numerous people, I learned that Ny Cancer & Blood Specialists owns NY Health...which is where my newest primary physician works (in another town). If I was explained to over the phone that my physician was affiliated with them, there wouldn't have been an issue. Instead I was told by the billing team that I was "lying" and that I was physically present at NY Cancer & Blood in Port Jefferson Station, NY. I was so angry because this was untrue, and I was willing to press charges/get camera footage showing I was "present"! I thought to myself if someone could have been impersonating me or got a hold of my insurance card because it was impossible I was there. Billing team should note this for future so they can avoid issues and angry clients. It can be quite confusing when you see numerous bills from a cancer treatment facility that you've never been to. Mind you, I am only in my 20s. Changed my primary doctor so I never have to deal with this money hungry facility ever again.
I recently saw a physician whose practice had just become affiliated with New York Cancer and Blood Specialists. My physician was superb as was the office staff. However, the billing which was done by New York Cancer and Blood Specialists was a nightmare and that is the reason for my low rating here. I had 1 office visit and a procedure and for both, the billing was messed up. Both times I called the New York Cancer and Blood Specialists billing number on multiple occasions on multiple days during business hours to connect with someone without success. On both occasions, they only called me back after I called my physician's office directly and they reached out to New York Cancer and Blood Specialists. I'm still not sure what they did -- I think they must have billed the wrong insurer to start -- but it finally seems to be straightened out. Nevertheless, if they can't figure out the billing for a simple procedure, I don't know how they could ever get the billing straight for complicated long-term cancer treatment. The financial judgment of the physician-owners of the practice also seems questionable (https://www.newsday.com/long-island/politics/santos-vacirca-election-vqw6u2uq). Also, though I was very impressed by my physician, the negative experience with the billing would make me more reluctant to return or recommend the practice to others.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
