I am not sure I can adequately put into words the way I feel about Dr.Torres, but I am sure going to try. He is unlike any doctor I have ever encountered in my life and someone that was truly born to be an oncologist. His compassion and empathy for his patients goes above and beyond his title of doctor. He has made me feel like I am a part of his family. He has made me feel optimistic when I thought that was impossible. He calms my fears on every visit, and just seeing him in the room makes me feel better. The cancer experience is so difficult, but having him by my side has made all the difference. I would recommend him over and over again. Thank you Dr.Torres. Thank you for being the doctor you are. You have impacted an entire community of people and I only wish more physicians could be like you. Thanks again Himilce Petsco

Except for the fact that it would mean he would be reassigned and no longer my doctor, I would highly recommend that he train ALL doctors to be like him. He is truly the kind of doctor everyone wants The Marcus Welby of the medical field in 2022!! He listens!! Oftentimes doctors don't or don't seem like they do. In the past 2 years I've noticed most doctors I see seem to have a little bell that goes off when they are taking too much time, maybe because you have a question. They may listen but hands on the doorknob, one foot outside. Not with Dr. Torres, I've never felt rushed. He's compassionate, caring, extremely knowledgeable, and a doctor I can trust. That's huge today! His team are all made up of the best as well. I've been going there since 2012 and started out with Dr. Vacirca, then Diana Young's, both highly recommended, but Dr. Torres, my favorite. I hope they don't change anything. Oh and did I mention he's got the greatest bowties!
