I would like to thank Dr. Amishi Desai, MD for saving my husband's life. After my husband's MRI of his shoulder we were told to find an oncologist ASAP. We just called NY Cancer & Blood to see if they took our insurance, they asked for his MRI and by 2 pm that same day we meet with Dr. Desia, the next day he had his PetScan by the end of the month he was in treatment. He has Multiple Myeloma. She told him she would cure him and not to worry. He does have a long road ahead but we are very happy and lucky to be in the hands of such a caring and confident doctor.
