Always get a second opinion. I was talked into an unnecessary knee surgery as I was healing and have been significantly worse since. Surgeons want to perform surgery.

From the minute he walked into the exm room I felt confident that Dr. McGinely was the right person to be treating my aching left knee. He was very through and kind in his questioning and examining my knee.

Dr. McGinley performed wonderfully successful surgeries on a close family member. We appreciated his calm and friendly bedside manner, thorough evidence-based patient education, and systematic planning tools for patients to follow before, during, and after their procedures. The results were beautiful and healed like a textbook example.

They do not come any better than Dr. Brian McGinley. I had my left knee replaced six years ago, and just last week my right knee was replaced, both by Dr. McGinley. These were full knee replacements and the results were terrific. The recovery was very fast for my left knee and is going just as well for my right knee. I've had no problems, little pain to speak of, and great care - before, during and after. Both operations were at St. Charles, where they did an outstanding job of care. I now look forward to many more years of tennis and golf, and I'm 78 years old.

Dr McGinley performed double knee surgery on me in Oct 2001. The surgery went well, with no post surgery difficulties. I was in St Charles Hospital for several days. Dr McGinley visited me every day to review my progress. I would, and have recommended Dr McGinley anyone thinking about Orthopedic Surgery. A fantastic Doctor!

Good bedside manner. Very organized office. His nurse practitioner, Kenny, is terrific. His nurse, Mary, is super organized and efficient and always available to answer any questions.. Easy to get an appointment. As far as knee replacement goes, this office and St Charles Hospital has it down to a science..

The doctor is average, but the office is a nightmare!There's a number of doctors in this office and probably aren't aware of the staff and lack of professionalism. I have been there a number of times, and it's always an issue when it comes to anyone following up on anything I'm always having to do all the work the office should be doing. I have had results from a lab for about a month, and still haven't heard a word from this office, the report showed a problem. Poor reflection, unhappy!
