List of Charles Albert's Reviews
Doctor not thorough and not interested in finding root cause of symptoms. Very rushed. No diagnostic tests ordered 😐. Would give doctor no stars, but the office staff is decent.
I have been a patient of dr Albert for almost 30 years. I would say he has done a fine job in helping me get cured from a disease I had for many years. Excellent care all the way around.
i have been a patient of Dr Albert since 1991 and have received excellent care in maintaining my health.
1st appointment - doctor makes a strange joke about never damaging anyone's throats during an endoscopy... Got a bad vibe from that comment and him hanging out in the conference room and nobody could find him.Scheduled an endoscopy anyways and after bringing me into the prep "closet" an hour and a half late, the anesthesiologist decides he doesn't want me wearing an insulin pump (that they knew about before scheduling and I explained how my numbers would be prepped for the procedure).I wasted $40 on Uber charges, as my planned ride had an emergency, only to have them continue to chip away at any trust a patient should have in their medical team. They did try to find out why I had issues with this, but when I stated that I don't trust the staff after all of this, the doctor started to get rude and I had to tell him that it was over and to stop trying to argue from another room down the hall.Nightmare of an experience and huge waste of time and money... Maybe shouldn't trust a medical practice that has a car repair shop attached to the building.
was just told to come back with new apt several times need to see doctor need to see nurse . was told they had no time to give shots at apt and then when I came back was told they don't have time to see me and to reschedule
I have been seeing Dr Albert for years & is the only GI whom I trust. While endoscopies are a pain in the neck & colonoscopies are a pain in the tuchus they are necessary procedures he has always performed them with excellent concern & respect. He has a wonderful bedside manner. I highly endorse him.
I was scheduled for a procedure at 1230 with Dr. Albert where I couldn't eat or drink from midnight the night before and had to take enemas. I waited an hour to get taken back and the staff stuck me like 15 times trying to get an Iv. They were unable to and wanted to reschedule. I will not be returning. I went through all of that for nothing. Do not recommend.
I have been going to see Dr. Johnson-Hall for many years now. I like her a lot and the office is efficient although not particularly warm and friendly. Usually a short waiting time which is good. I am not thrilled with her associates that I have met but have only had to deal with them during a hospital stay. All in all I would recommend her.
Does not provide patients with information needed to provide informed consent. Does not offer patients a choice in anesthesia. The anesthesiology record is incomplete and no calculations for amount of anesthetic agent exist. I never will go to him again because the consent forms are too broad and takes away patient rights. Propofol is the agent that they use and it appears that the anesthesiologist gives everyone the same dose. The dosage is suppose to be calculated according to the person's weight and age. My wife and I received the same dosage that led to the death of Joan Rivers. Propofol killed Michael Jackson. Patients need to provided choices and DR. Albert does not provide the choices of anesthesia. Patients are pressured to sign the consent forms on the day of the procedure and before the anesthesiologist explains the anesthesia. Ask for your Medical records and you will know what I mean..
Dr. Albert is a good doctor. He performed an endoscopy and two colonoscopies so far. He was very helpful and seems to care for his patients. My low rating is due to the staff. They are horrible when it comes to customer service. The staff is rude and always seems like you're bothering them when you have questions. Might switch doctors because they are so incompetent.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
