2004 was my first visit with Dr Vacirca and I will never regret my treatment,yes breast cancer and yes I am still here enjoying my life with triplet granddaughters.Thanks to Jeffrey caring,and so knowledgeable of all forms of cancer,Idid chemo ,radiation and five years oral medication.I trust this man with my life and remember him in my prayers everyday.My husband has just been diagnosed with lung cancer and yes he is being treated by Dr Vacirca .I totally trust whatever treatment is best.

Great at first few meetings. Then once patient starts getting sicker, he never sees you again. Even when you specifically made an appointment with him. Totally left my Dad feeling abandoned by him till his death.

Dr. Vacirca makes you seem like he's your best friend, he'd do anything for you... Unfortunately, if an emergency situation arises, he will not be there. His associates are afraid to contact him. Please, find another doctor. I've now been a widow for 11 months - Dr. Vacirca told us this was an "easy" cancer - It's not 1970 anymore. We had no doubts that my husband would be fine.... He dropped the ball and my husband paid with his life...

DR. VACIRCA conducts a lot of his own cancer research and frequently travels to teach other oncologists. He creates a unique treatment plan based on your specific symptoms. He took advantage of the latest technology that MSK is only now beginning to use, and very successfully treated my husband's stage 4 cancer much faster and more conservatively than MSK wanted to do. The comparison was 36 radiation treatments at Sloane to ZERO RADIATION with DR. VACIRCA. George has now been cancer-free since April of 2014. We bless every dollar he earns and wish him a long and joyful life.
