Words cannot express such a great man and doctor. I started here over 4 years ago with a random large lump over my thyroid. Since then Dr George has treated my mom with a blood disorder while monitoring her lungs as she has COPD. He has gone beyond his scope of hemotology and oncology. My father now sees him for cancer. I have been in talk therapy here because I was a patient of Dr George and it has renewed my faith entirely, just knowing physicians like this still exist. All thought very hard to find, Dr. George doesn’t shortchange anyone’s time because their medical coverage. So thank you, Dr George and thanks to your family for sharing you will us. The world is brighter because you lead by example and that makes all the difference when fighting disease and cancer.

Receptionists polite and respectful. This goes for the doctor who sees you, and the staff that does the blood draw. Doctor listens to any concerns we have, and stays positive about the test results.

My name is Donna & have been going to NY Blood & Cancer for almost 4 yrs. In those years I have always dealt with staff who were kind,compassionate & proffessional from first walking in to shot rm to infusion center to imaging they are all great! I can not say enough about Dr. George from his knowledge to his compassion no words can express our gratitude! He is so thorough & you never leave questioning anything! The day after Thanksgiving 2021, my absolute favorite person in the world (my Dad)came home w/ a DX for cancer. I had been very unimpressed with Northwell Health PBMC affiliates 4 some time, but since Dad's PCP referred us, we followed suit. So many things were wrong with that practice. At a routine follow-up for MYSELF with Dr. Jerry George, I was curious to know if I was being overly sensitive of Dad's care, or if I was in fact correct about my assumptions. I was indeed correct, per Dr. George. PBMC affiliates told us we needed Sloan Kettering study trials ASAP. Then, we didn't hear from the Oncologist for days. I found out he was on paid leave for a week! When you are dealing with cancer, no patient should have to wait days wondering. We obtained 2nd opinion from Dr George & Dad started chemo locally(@NY Cancer) w/in a week! 2 months later, Dad's cancer count is down and he physically feels better. This wasn't possible w/o Dr. George. Words can't convey our respect nor gratitude. TY
