Joseph K. Cavallo Md's Online Review Report Card

I have been Dr. Cavallo's patient for over a decade and have the utmost respect for him and the office staff. His care, advice, and kindness have been a tremendous support during multiple episodes of skin cancer and other various skin diseases. He is always patient and carefully answers I might have. Patients are greeted warmly and graciously offered assistance with any medical forms and/or appointments. Additionally, I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes for my appointment. The office is spotlessly clean, sunny, and filled with current magazines (except during the current covid crisis). I know that might sound silly, but it is just another reminder that this is a medical establishment that does everything possible to make their patients feel respected and comfortable.

I would NOT recommend this doctor to anyone. After years of an awful experience with these dermatologists, I have finally decided to switch doctors. I thought it was common for dermatologist to not care and kick you out of appointments in 5 minutes. I guess it was just Cavallo and Horlick who provided no empathy or care towards their patients. You are simply just another $ in their bank account. I always left feeling worse and they never managed to solve any of my skin concerns. They simply did not care. I didn't realize that not all dermatologist are as arrogant and rude as these ones. Good luck getting an appointment because they are always on vacation with the money you wasted on going there in the first place.

Very unhappy. Saw him twice, cut me off both times and wouldn’t even listen to my concerns. The second time, actually laughed at me (basically dismissed my hair loss concerns saying there’s no way I could tell I was experiencing it) to the point I left the office crying.

Dr Cavallo is our Dermatologist. He is kind and a great Diagnostician. Good Doctors are worth waiting for. You just found the best. Highly recommended.

Office visits with Dr. Cavallo are extremely rushed, office staff is very unpleasant and unaccommodating.

i called the emergency number three times with no return phone call by either doctor. i am disgusted by this.

Dr. Covallo has an excellent bedside manner, is thorough in explaining treatments, and appears to have a great relationship with his staff. His office is always clean, neat, and there is a positive energy generated by his staff.

Ease of talking to doctor, confident that diagnosis was accurate, Comfortable with doctor, staff very helpful and polite.

a nice doctor, answered all my questions, was patient when I brought up some random red bumps on my arm that I actually wasn't there fordidn't have to wait very long, but a clean comfortable waiting office
