Incompetent is the word I would use to describe her. The 1st time my wife called her because she was having a bad headache, visual changes, and an elevated blood pressure, a competent OB would be worried about pre-elcamplsia. Her 1st question was why are you measuring your Blood pressure. She dismissed the concerns and proceeded to call back 20 minutes later asking my wife to explain her symptoms again, at this time she asked her to come into the hospital. By the time she reached the hospital she her headache had resolved and BP was normal, Dr. Call ordered labs but cancelled them as symptoms had resolved. No observation, just sent her home. I have explained the circumstances to my wife's current OB who was shocked that she was dismissive of the symptoms, and has even recommended treating my wife as tho she did have pre-eclampsia with her 1st pregnancy. The 2nd call was when she having contractions, she was timing them, they were getting closer and longer, Dr. Call dismissed this as it was her 1st pregnancy, told her the contractions weren't real and to stop counting her contractions. 1 hr later she was in L&D 9 cm dilated. I would not recommend her to anyone. Unfortunately when you work with a group you never know who will be on-call. We were unfortunate to have her on call both times we called.
The Worst bed side manners I have ever seen in my entire life. I also work in the medical field with Physicians, but she was really rude, dismissive and annoyed to do her job. So sad. A baby lost his life for her Mal practice.
Not a wonderful experience. I felt uncomfortable most of the time and she wouldn't discuss pain management options with me. At one apt. the nurse said she might send me to another place to get an additional ultrasound, when I mentioned it, Dr. Call seemed very upset and I never went. I ended up having a baby born with congenital birth defects (who is thankfully fine today, no help from her). The nurses in the practice were constantly changing as well. Something she is good at is the actual delivery itself. They also never called to schedule a post partum check up. I didn't want to see her again anyways.
I also had a horrifying experience with Dr. Call. The only time I dealt with her was when she was on call at BMC and I was in a crisis. Her suggestion? Call back during normal office hours the following day.
My experience with this doctor is limited to her being the "on call" doctor for berkshire ob/gyn associates. When this doctor finally called me back she was rude and dismissive. You may want to take that into consideration before you "sign on" with this doctor.
Missed by sons heart defect because on my last ultrasound she could not see the heart because of the way the baby was sitting. Said she was going to do another one but never did. He was life flighted to Boston Children's hours after birth.
Dr. Call is a great doctor. Very knowledgeable and thorough and professional.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
