Dr. Lee Farber is a great professional yet a better person. He is very understanding and compasionate and actually listens to you unlike other Doctors who want you in and out. It is easy to tell that he loves his job. I have much respect for Dr. Farber. Definitely the best Doctor i've come across.

He was a great Doctor on all fronts. I had a double hernia procedure. He was easy to talk to and did great work.After I recovered, my wife went and also had a great result. We give him the highest recommendation.

Be careful when you're choosing your surgeons and don't believe the negative reviews you read bout the doctors, nurses and Vassar hospital being dirty - it's not true! My husband and I had a great experience at Vassar with one of the best surgeons, Dr.Faber. My husband had his fifth hernia surgery done on the left side and it took three and a half hours. This was due to many complications as a result of the past procedures. Doctor Faber is professional, very knowledgeable and an outstanding surgeon. He also went above and beyond, was incredibly compassionate and caring. Doctor Faber is an amazing human - Thank you, Dr.Faber!

Had an umbilical hernia from a previous surgery not done by Dr Farber. Dr Farber is very compassionate caring and will listen to you and your concerns. I had gone to send another surgeon previously who dismissed my complaints and thankfully Dr Farber listening and just had surgery it is getting better but still painful Dr Farber and Theresa are great

I was referred to Dr. Farber by my GP for an Umbilical Hernia operation. Dr. Farber met with me before the surgery and on the day of-and explained everything that would happen before, during and after surgery. Dr. Farber and his pre and post-operative staff are second to none- the care I received was first class and I was able to return to work a week post-op. Couldn't be happier with the care I received and wouldn't hesitate for a second to recommend Dr. Farber in the highest possible terms.
