I injured my right knee falling on the ice in winter. I got an MRI and searched for a doctor to do the orthoscopic procedure. I should have been more alarmed when Dr. Chiaramonte refused to look at the MRI and said 'I'll figure out what to do when I am inside your knee'. I got a terrible infection and needed to have 100cc of fluid removed twice and he did the procedure again. At my last office visit ...

This so called orthopedic surgeon is an IME for insurance companies. He lied on his report. He could care less about anybody he's seeing. Just wanting his pay from which ever insurance company, he is doing the exam for. Be careful he's a quack or he would still be practicing medicine, rather than IME'S.

Doctor Chiaramonte is old and stupid. He is truly an out right liar. Please retire instead of making a mockery of the medical society. I am a R.N. 100% disabled for life. This for doctor lied under oath. I have been without a income for over two months. I have lost everything. I hope your GREED~ payoff from the insurance company was worth all. The fires below are waiting for you. God doesn't like ugly.

I had a bad feeling from the start when the person working at the desk told me to not bother bringing in my MRI disc and X ray Films because he wouldn't need to look at them. The total time in his office couldn't have lasted more than 10 minutes. I don't know if at one point in time he was a legitimate medical professional but he seems to just be trying to make a quick buck off insurance companies by getting peoples claims canceled without evaluating the patients.

Did a ime with this guy not a doctor in my eyes total lies never use the tool hand held goniometer use a piece of loose leaf paper to measure my grip I making a complaint to the WCB would wish everyone else do the same JM

I have two visits with this doctor: on first appointment he used reflex hammer on injured knee, which bone was broken, I begged him, literarily: “Please do not touch my right knee…” he promised that he won’t and when I just looked away he wacked me with the hammer. I was in pain, angry and scared. The only tools he used is a measuring tape and the hammer. The examination last less than 10 min. In addition he repeatedly asked the same questions over and over claiming that he is old and could not here well. At the second appointment when he started asking me the same questions due to his poor hearing I just suggested that he should use hearing aids and not making patients yell. Chiaramonte is incompetent, shows no respect to patients, and didn’t prepare beforehand for the patient. He looked at the papers forth and back (which include visiting time). This is ridicules. His title should be long time take away. Now I am going to write complaint regarding this “DOCTOR”.

This doctor is a fraud. Plain and simple. He was caught lying about his IME examination of a patient. A video recording of the exam revealed that his IME narrative was wrought with lies and untruths. It took over 2 hours to be seen for a 4 minutes (hands off) exam, yet his report was loaded with instruments used to measure movement and the like. He underwent a deposition following his fraudulent DX and report, to which he was presented with the video tape of his lies and untruths. This quack needs to be sent back to school and learn the lessons of truth and honesty. This quack is a hack and serves only as a free loading insurance doctor who possibly is unworthy and incapable of treating real injuries and real ailments for real people. God help anyone forced to be sent to this man for any sort of positive response. His staff also has a disgusting demeanor and were quite rude and verbally vulgar to patients as well.
