I've had doctor Lyons for many years and he is very skilled. He answers questions and is very polite with a good "bedside manner" I've lived with a heart condition which he has treated with medications and suggestions of lifestyle changes and I have no untoward symptoms. Supporting staff are also very nice.

Dr Lyons followed up with my 91yo mom in hospital. There had been a change in meds and, when asked to explain why, he said. “The nurse will explain,” and left the room. When asked repeatedly over two days to provide the explanation, Lyons was arrogant, rude, and disrespectful. He first came in and said Mom was back on all of her original heart/BPmeds. When told this was not true, he refused to answer specific questions, then challenged the intelligence of his patient and her son, both of whom were very familiar with these meds. When asked why he failed to consult with the prescribing doctor, a renowned electrophysiologist, responded with “why should I!”

I am quoting another patient because their response is exactly the same for me: "In many visits, I found him humorless, lacking in empathy, seemingly rushed and a bit arrogant. I do not question his competence but perhaps his overconfidence." Hence I requested to not see him again, opting to try anther doctor.

Dr. Lyons is very attentive to your needs!! He does not rush you!!! Before you leave he ask if you have any questions for him!!
