I don't like so many things about this company, they are irresponsible people. The person that takes care of my brother didn't how up or even bother to call me and according to this person the agency should have called me. They passed the problem to others. I wish I can put a negative star as well.

I would give this agency 0 stars, one of the worst I have ever dealt with.I had an aide for my daughter for 15 years and the agency pulled her from us in a horrible way. Tracy the office manager called me and said my aide was taking to much time off my case and she was going to remove her from us. If it wasn't a problem for me why was it for her? I was shocked and begged her not to remove her. good aides are hard to find and she was the best. Then it seems she may have told my aide it was at my request. I called my case worker and ask her to talk to Tracy to see if she would put her back on our case. Tracy FLAT OUT LIED! to my case worker and her supervisor and said our aide left us. I texted my aide "I wasn't aware it was your choice to leave us, thank you for everything I wish you well." COME TO FIND OUT! she didn't leave us. I have no idea what Tracy told her because everyone is upset and we have only exchanged a few text. Tracy won't take my calls. This is only a job to these uncaring women in this office. they have devastated my daughter and myself for what reason I have no idea. They don't care about the people or the family's they are supposed to help. When you call to complain it falls on deaf ears. STAY AWAY!!!!!!

I'm usually not the type of Yelp person to say this but today's that day -- IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE 0 STARS I WOULD. They sent some home attendant to my mother who clearly has anger management issues and is in the wrong line of work, not to mention she is racist. The aide was a large, stubborn, lazy person who kept telling my mom "Stop bothering me" and "Stop driving me crazy" because my mom is wheelchair bound with left side paralysis after a stroke and needs help for every single thing, such as every time she needs to get a drink of water or go to the bathroom or eat something will be put in front of the television.Even when I called my mother and I was stuck at work I could hear the lady yelling at her in the background, she was very hostile and aggressive towards a 74 year old woman who is less than 100 lbs. She called my mother "white trash," she also told my mother and her friend to "learn English", she started screaming about how "you don't know me, you don't know me, I could fight you" to my mother's friend and it was so heated that my mother's friend had to threaten to call the police. This aide seemed to be set off into a rant after my mother's dear friend accused her of not taking care of my mom and consistently watching Netflix on her phone with her headphones in her ears! My mother's friend told her that if she has earphones in all day how would she hear my mom if she falls and screams for help. The aide got extremely defensive and that is when the verbal abuse began.The aide's name is ETINE ESPINOLAS who didn't even work 1 full day before her outburst and left during the middle of her tirade on 3/7/19.I called the evening helpline and reported to a woman, who I believe was Rosa Melendez, that I'm going to be taking this complaint to the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. I would bet my bottom dollar that this woman has been verbally, if not also physically, abusive towards other elderly patients and she is not fit to care for anyone. The fact that my mother has had different home attendants from countries in Africa and Europe and there have been no issues like this before, shows me that this aide Etine is a menace and needs to be terminated. How dare this Etine denigrate my mom, she was a bully and my mom said she was very rough with her.

First off let me start by saying I would post no stars if the site allowed !   This agency is absolutely horrible to both work for and hire for home care......They do not care about their employees nor their customers or your loved ones...All they care about is MONEY/CASES  they look proffesional and sound professional but it couldnt be more further from the truth !  The employees and employers are all deceptive cut throat and back stabbing..They will tell you everything you want to hear and provide you with nothing.......Do not trust this agency for ANYTHING !   Wolf in sheeps clothing would be the best way to describe them........All they do is run their employees into the ground and do whatever it takes to get a case.....your family is not safe with them......Very Deceptive and un trustworthy !!!!!!!!!!!!  They degrade their employees and have belittled families of cases.....shameful......Once again the almighty dollar......they have allowed unsafe people to continue as workers.......unsafe is exactly the word for them on every level.........

They lie about everything, and when they get caught in a lie they countine to lie.They took one of the best Aides we had and then lied claiming a tragic event.I have complained to head quarters in Texas and they refer the investigation back to the same people who preptorate the lies !!Someone from Department of Health should investigate this business for unethical practices.Stay away is the best advice I can offer.

Don't deal with these people. Apparently AC hires crackheads, idiots and lazy people. The first person they sent me was high. The second one locked herself in the bathroom to talk for over an hour. I had to train the main caretaker how to use a broom, an ATM, a coffee pot... During a medical emergency, I told her to call 911 and she froze.The Poughkeepsie office has a blatant disregard towards their clients. I was left to fend for myself on a Saturday. I am confined to a wheelchair, unable to get food or do other tasks. I was told to hang in there, it was only for one day; that I could handle not having a care taker for "only one day."If you have a death wish, AC is the perfect provider.

My first aide was a drinking pot smoking woman with an attitude who cancelled many times due to being out too late, didn't clean properly and left early. The second seems to speak in tongues, she makes no sense at all. Are there no normal people helping the elderly/disabled? All this on the taxpayers dime.
