List of Peter Varunok Md's Reviews
This is premier experience. Very professional friendly caring and great results. Dr V and staff are the best ! Highly recommended.😃👍
Dr Varonok has been my Doctor since 2000,I was diagnosed with PBC in 2006,I feel very confident and hopeful with his excellent care of my RX of PBC.He’s always on top of the latest procedures and my visits every 6 months ,along with my ultrasound, endoscopy, and Fibroscans .
Had multiple telehealth meeting and having my first in person meeting today. He had done a great job explaining my condition and running advanced diagnostics test to help pinpoint my issue. Would recommend
Dr. Varunok is a kind and caring doctor but his office secretary is disrespectful and talks down to patients. She lacks interpersonal skills and is abrasive. So much so my family will be going to a new doctor!
Dr. Varunok not only cares for his patients’ physical well-being but also takes the time to listen and understand any underlying fears, questions and financial concerns that go along with serious medical conditions.
Just had a procedure with Dr. Peter. He explained everything clearly and answered all my questions. Instructions were clear and my doubts were answered by staff in his office. Dr. Peter's team was friendly and made my experience stress free and painless. Thank you. May god bless Dr.Peter to spread the healing and comfort to everyone in need of his expertise.
Dr. Varunok’s secretary accused me of harassment as I asked too many times how much a weekly procedure would cost that the doctor prescribed. The secretary’s first reply to me was that she could not help, really, you can’t help your patients determine a cost? I kept calling back because each recommendation was a dead end. I admit, I was frustrated but never raised my voice or in any way was harassing the secretary. The secretary accused me of harassment and hung up the phone on me! The secretary then called me back and acted like nothing happened. Dr. Varunok then called me that day and did not want to discuss the harassment issue and stated that he already wasted enough time and went on to say how busy he is. I then tried to contact Premier Medical Group administration and no one would reply back to me. Come to find out that the procedure would be a hospital co-pay of $100 a week, or $400 a month. Needless to say, I went to another doctor and they had me go to the New York Blood Center where the procedure would be FREE! Why did Dr. Varunok not recommend this in the first place! Never going to Premier Medical Group again!
What a wonderful experience it's been to have been under Dr Varunok's care. The man literally saved my life in a courageous and professional way. While treating for hep c he would call me at 9pm to see how I was doing. Who does that anymore? What a guy.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
