I visited Dr Tigges for a knee injury and hip pain that wasn't resolving; Tigges saw me for a moment, sent me away with a misdiagnosis. (I later got a good second opinion and proper diagnosis from HSS - hospital for special surgery in NYC). The worst part though is I found out a YEAR later they'd never submitted to my insurance, and sent my bill to collections.

I would highly recommend Dr Tigges to anyone who needs hip or knee replacements! I hav had one hop, and both knees replaced.all went well. He’s a great guy, and a wonderful surgeon. When I worked in a doctor’s office, I would always recommend him. And when someone called for pre op for knee or hip, surgery, I’d ask who was going to perform the surgery, most answers were DrTigges.

Dr. Tigges is awesome. I’ve dealt with knee pain for over 8 years and I finally went to see him. He explained what needs to be done to help me. I had a partial knee replacement a month ago and I’m feeling great. Knee is still healing but I’m walking with no pain. Great doctor.

Had a perfect l thr posterior. So greatful for the expertise of Dr. Tigges and the excellent care of his Healthcare team. Minimal pain meds needed post op. Looking forward to resuming my life. And still waiting for the anesthesia to wear off.

At age 44 had full knee replacement April 2018 by Dr Tigges. All I can say is he did a fantastic job and this is the first time in 10 years that my knee feels amazing! This is most sturdiest my knee has felt in 10 years! I don’t have to worry if I can make it to my living from my kitchen without falling over. I would recommend him in a heartbeat! He’s right to the point and knows what he’s doing!

Dr Tigges as my Knee Dr for over 10 years! Did a few arthroscopic surgeries, a partial and full replacement. Now many years later having moved out of state my new knee Dr has only complimented his work and told me he was a great surgeon. I would recommend him 100% Just wish he would come south and fix my other knee now!!

Dr Tigges can be rude and abrupt. He is an excellent surgeon with an inflated ego.

Awesome Dr. he took the time to explain all aspects of my hip replacement and was available through the recovery process, which by the way went amazingly well and almost pain free. I will be seeing him for my other hip.

Dr. R. Tigges signed record of my wife visit to my medical file. Now, I am going through a lot of time consuming efforts to overcome bureaucratic resistance to removing that record from my file. I hope the doctor does better in actual medical practice.
