Well sad to say, I have had nothing but a very bad experience with Dr. Scott Kahn. It seemed like he wasn't listening to what I was trying to explain to him about my medical situation. I also noticed he seemed very uninterested in having me there that day. I noticed his doctor's white coat was very dirty as well. It tells a lot about a doctor. Like this was not bad enough, they had cancelled my appointment for a procedure that I was scheduled for without letting me know. I actually found out when I went in for a mandatory Covid Test for the procedure and found out from another party that my appointment was cancelled and rescheduled for another month and a half without contacting me about the cancellation and rescheduling for the procedure. .... (They didn't even consult with me to see if this new date was good for me and my schedule) Overall, they have been truly sloppy and unprofessional.... I have never had an experience like this before. I would have given a zero on ratings, but they would not allow that.

Very unprofessional. Cannot write anymore as I am filing a malpractice suit against him.

I highly recommend Dr. Kahn. He has been both direct and compassionate in addressing my questions regarding cancer. he takes his time during the appointment and he has all the time you need.

From the first day of my diagnosis of bladder cancer in 2009 to now 10 years later, Dr. Scott Kahn has been kind, compassionate, competent, caring and personable. He gave it to me straight and reassured me back then that he would always be up front with me. He explained my treatment and was confident that he could treat my condition. Ten years later and I am cancer free. I see him once a year for follow-ups and he remembers me. Thank you Dr. Kahn for all you do and all you are.

Dr. Kahn is excellent. I had Fournier Gangrene with Perirectal Abscesses, Urinary Tract Infections and Acute Kidney Failure. Dr. Kahn's medical expertise, surgical skills, professionalism and abilities to coordinate and work with the Gastrointestinal Surgeons at Vassar Brothers Hospital under extremely complex circumstances saved my life. He knew what to do, when to do it and I was fully in the decision process which gave me confidence and peace of mind. Dr. Kahn's post surgical office care has been most reassuring. I have been healing without complications and am preparing to have my colostomy reversed and return to normal life. I thank God for giving such talents to Dr. Kahn whom I highly recommend.

I am a cancer survivor; and I must first thank God for directing me to Dr. Scott Kahn. He has been my urologist for many years and has successfully been with me through a radical prostatectomy and kidney stones. He is not only professional and extremely competent, but also caring and personally involved with my wellbeing. I, and my wife, thank you so very much Dr. Kahn.

Dr. Scott Kahn is a wonderful doctor and surgeon. Last October, my PSA count had reached 450 and he performed a biopsy. On a November morning, he shared the results with me in this way: "John you do have cancer, and that's a word none of us want to hear, but it's not life threatening and we will find just the right interventions for you." His calmness and compassion eased my anxiety immensely. Subsequently, Dr. Kahn ordered scans that determined the cancer, though aggressive, was confined to the prostate. He inserted a hydro gel to protect other organs, injected a hormone to lower testosterone that can fuel cancer cells, and referred me to Dr. Koutcher and his wonderful staff at the PROS radiation center here in Poughkeepsie, NY. There, I had 45 radiology treatments over nine weeks. Good came last week: My most recent PSA score is less than 0.1. Thank you, Dr. Scott Kahn. I am thankful to have found you!

I had a very painful urinary retention episode recently which was treated in the hospital emergency room. I scheduled a visit with Dr. Kahn the following week to have the foley removed and have a follow up exam. The Doctor and his staff immediately put me at ease and fully explained what the exam would entail and afterward what options were available to address my issues. I have since had laser surgery performed by Dr. Kahn to help correct my enlarged prostate issue and am now recovering well.
