List of Stephen Yu's Reviews
Dr Yu was in a hurry from the very beginning. Never took time to really explain things regarding my issue. Tried to rush me into a procedure I’m not sure I even need. Never felt so unimportant in a doctors office. His staff was wonderful but I cannot say the same for him.
Still waiting for his office to get a CAT scan approved for my wife for two weeks now
Excellent! Takes the time necessary to listen to all my problems. Came up with a solution that others did not. Highly recommended!
DR. Yu IS GREAT DOCTOR . I WOULD HIGHLY RECCOMEND HIM
I cannot recommend Dr Yu highly enough. He is a highly qualified specialist in the very specific area of urology neurostimulation that I need. He saw me the same day that my original doctor's office couldn't be bothered to see me, despite my being in incredible pain. He knew exactly what the problem was and scheduled surgery for 2 days' later. His staff is compassionate, efficient and friendly. He has a direct manner but is caring and I appreciated that. I couldn't have asked for more and am very grateful. I look forward to his being my urologist for all my future care.
Do not recommend Dr. Yu. Very potentially life threatening diagnosis given to a family member. Too quick and often wrong in judgment. Seek different doctor please.
I was not aware that after a laser operation I would have a catheter and worse I was never advised of the excruciating pain I would endure when urinating. The end result is that the problem resulted in a recurrance of the initial problem and i was then recommended to another specialist who confirmed the initial operation was not successful
Husband saw him in ER - unable to urinate for mor than 18 hours. Husband has MS. Was catheterized by Yu, drained of 2 liters of urine, had white blood count of 15000 (normal is 4800 to 11000) had catheter placed & was sent home. NO ANTIBIOTICS despite obvious infection based on WBC. So sich the next day he fell getting out of bed; is now hospitalized for IV antibiotic treatment for 3 days & continuing - infection is now systemic.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
