Scheduling an appointment was fast and easy, and I was able to secure an appointment quickly. During my visit, my provider showed great empathy towards my situation and concerns, taking a measured and conservative approach that perfectly aligned with my comfort level. I couldn't be more satisfied with the level of care I have received at Empire Psychiatry, and highly recommend them to anyone looking for compassionate and personalized mental health care.

My np Alex correctly identified that I was misdiagnosed with depression and I really had bipolar which was aggravated by the medication that was previously given to me in the hospital. I’ve been working with him on a plan to get me on the right meds and although it’s been just a month I feel so much less angry and irritable. I’m impressed by how thorough they are here, and feel I’m in the hands of professionals. My anxiety has also decreased tremendously. I owe my new found peace to this psychiatry office. Thank you.

This practice came highly recommended in my facebookgroup and I decided to reach out. They take many insurances, so that’s always a plus. I was paying lots of money to my previous psych doctor and now it’s only a copay, so that’s a win! The care here is better than my previous doctor and things run smoothly. I never feel that I’m a bother when I call, I barely ever wait for my appointments, and my medications are always sent in correctly. Can’t ask for more than that. I've been having a combination of symptoms of anxiety, depression, and what I thought was adhd, and called around to find an appointment. The intake process was pretty painless and they got me seen quickly. Working with my provider, it seems like my anxiety was so bad it was affecting my concentration. Since having my anxiety decreased (what a blessing), my concentration issues have subsided as well. They do a thorough evaluation and understand the medications and when and how to use them, which gives me confidence in following the treatment plan. Just wanted to say thank you to Empire Psychiatry.

Very efficient and friendly. My prescriber gives me thorough explanations as to what medications are being prescribed and the rationale for them and I never feel pushed into anything, which was important to me in finding a psychiatry doctor.

I had a lot of fear coming to a psychiatry practice never having been on medications before. My np actually listened to my concerns and worked with me in a way that I was comfortable with. He was very insightful and took into account my medication concerns. I'm glad I decided to take the leap and seek help. I've been so tired of feeling anxiety all day long for no reason that I had to do something. Extremely happy with the care I've been getting!
