Booked an appointment with Dr. Lerner because my pcp is fully booked for this month, and I want to be seen soon due to my current symptoms. Arrived at the office 10 mins prior to the appointment and was told that Dr. Lerner doesn’t see patient if they are already an established patient of another doctor at the office. When I asked the staff if this is a protocol for doctors at mount sinai or if this is just Dr. Lerner. She told me Dr. Lerner “prefers not to”. I took a half day off from work to come here and only got told that I was not able to be seen. It’s a waste of my time for sure. Very disappointed by the practice.

My grandmother is a patient of Dr. Lerner and she believes she was robbed by an assistant in his office, who stole money from her pocketbook. Her friend now also claims she was robbed in his office. The Dr avoided calls and did nothing to address the situation.

Following up from my last review, Dr. Lerner followed up with and addressed the situation. My grandmother is satisfied with this attention to the matter.

My 94-year old grandmother had her cash stolen from her purse at Dr. Lerner's office by one of his assistants. Not only has this been terribly upsetting to my grandmother, but Dr. Lerner has not responded to five phone calls to his office in a week to discuss the incident. I am appalled at the lack of responsiveness and oversight by Dr. Lerner and recommend that everyone stay way from this practice.

Very caring Dr. To me is the Best in Town. God bless him. Always follow up with his patients. My personal experience he is an Amazing Human. Love Him as my PCP.

Dr. Lerner has been treating me (now 88 years old) and my wife who is 89 for many years. I cannot think of a better internist / PCP than him - and also admire his nurse Marissa Reyes - what a gem!

Great Doctor. Honestly one of the best I've ever had and he doesn't rush you at all. That said, allow 2 hours when you go as they are always backed up.
