Dr Kalra has been my doctor for over 20 yrs - she always has provided the highest level of personal care. Her care & support are invaluable. I would strongly recommend her to anyone needing her expertise.

Do NOT schedule an appointment with this woman as a friend of mine was refused treatment solely based on the fact that he was transgender. If you are transgender, or are an ally of the LGBTQ community, please do not request to see this doctor.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Kalra for 25 years. She is very caring and interested in her patients welfare. The billing department needs to improve. They get my primary insurance payments, but my secondary insurance is not always automatically charged. On several occasions I have had to submit my info to the insurance company so that the Dr could get paid. Looks like I’ll have to do that again.

Dr. Kalra is a great oncologist. The only issue I have is her Medical Assistant, Tamar. She has been very rude and is very angry. She pretends to be nice once the doctor comes in the room. She made rude comments to me and is very abusive. I don’t know who to tell. Tamar really shouldn’t work in the office. All the other employees are very professional, kind and have always been helpful, just like Dr. Kalra. Patrick has been wonderful and explains everything very well.

Dr Karla is a very good hematologist. Surprising enough Dr. KARLA takes Medicare and Medicaid. She belongs to LIJ Hospital. HER STAFF IS VERY FRIENDLY ESPECIALLY PATRICK
