The Smilist Dental Woodside's Online Review Report Card

I had a routine cleaning and had a cavity filled. The cavity I had was on a right molar that is all the way back bottom of my mouth and was not grown in properly due to a wisdom tooth that was taken out years ago. The wisdom tooth was not erupted and were still under the gums. The impacted wisdom tooth caused the front molar to not grow out properly and made it very difficult for me to floss. The floss would get stuck in between the teeth. My dentist recommended me to see an orthodontist to get a consultation on getting braces. I was looked for a place that accepted my insurance and found The Smilist. It is close to work and to home so commuting to the location was easy. I met with Dr. Feldman who was very friendly and decided we can try putting partial braces on the bottom and see if that can help bring the molar tooth up more to create a bit of space between the teeth to make flossing easier. After a year of braces, the molar tooth is up more. I can floss easily. It was a complete success. My dentist was very impressed. Dr. Feldman is amazing. Every time I see him for my appointment, he makes me feel welcome. He would say I am the easiest patient because it only takes like 5-10 minutes to change out the braces bands. The receptionists/employees working at the front desk are very friendly. They are never rude. I've had different dental hygienists change out the bands in my braces for the monthly visit. Some did a great job. Maybe one did an okay job. When I say ok, I mean there was a time when after getting the bands replaced, the bands broke instantly after a meal. It's likely my fault if I was eating something harder to bite into. I am not blaming her. Overall, everyone who works at this location has been friendly and amazing to me. Thank you so much! I will see them again in 3 months for a follow up after receiving my clear plastic retainer.

We love the time spending at The smilist Dental Woodside!It was the first time for my 3 year old boy and it was the best experience spending there.We can't wait till next visit.

This place is an organizational mess and the front of house staff are ruthless. They promise quotes that never arrive. They schedule and confirm appointments they do not keep. This place is a scam and waste of time.

Dr Azadeh Dianat is skilled and compassionate. Just as important to me, she puts the patient first. I would definitely recommend her to anyone.

I had an absolutely horrible experience at this dentist office. After going here for a cleaning the hygienist who did my cleaning injured my gums during the process of cleaning. Aside from that I am getting a bill from a visit that I did three years ago just now. Apparently I never paid my dues. I call the office various time in Woodside and the call gets drop or someone hangs up. Can never get a hold of anyone. Very unorganized unprofessional!!

I look forward to my appointments and am happy with how my teeth are taken care of.

I can't speak highly enough of the Dentists and Orthodontists working there, but their front desk staff has made my experience miserable. Their communication is mostly automated via text and email, but I was also informed in the office that they don't regularly check their emails, so communication is largely one way. I tried calling several times on different days to reschedule an appointment and was either unable to get through or was put on hold for an excessively long amounts of time (so long that I had to give up and try again the another day as I had calls of my own to take — on more than one occasion). I was unable to get in touch until they opened on the same day of my appointment and was told I would have to pay a fee for the missed appointment. In a completely separate instance, I was told one thing in person about what the cost of a procedure would be, only to receive an email the next week that they were mistaken. I made sure to do my due diligence while in person and was told that a note was made in my file/appointment that reflected what was agreed upon in person and that it would be upheld. I called to inquire why this had changed and was told by someone very rudely, with an unprofessional measure of attitude that "you don't have proof, so it doesn't matter what you were told." I am appalled at the lack of integrity I was shown.

Today was my first time here and I was extremely happy with the staff :) The doctor was very nice and friendly. I will keep coming in to this place , highly recommended!!!
