My 94-year old grandmother had her cash stolen from her purse at Dr. Lerner's office by one of his assistants. Not only has this been terribly upsetting to my grandmother, but Dr. Lerner has not responded to five phone calls to his office in a week to discuss the incident. I am appalled at the lack of responsiveness and oversight by Dr. Lerner and recommend that everyone stay way from this practice.

I was very disappointed with the way he and his nurse, Marissa Reyes, treated me. On June 3, 2021, Dr. Lerner ordered an x ray of my chest and back. He did not call me back for the result. I left him 2 messages to no avail. Finally on June 16, I sent him a text message and when he replied he said his nurse should have call me back, really ? So, asked him to send me a copy of the x-ray result which he said he will. I did not get the the x-ray result from him. Disgusted, I called their Lab and Test unit directly and got a copy.

Very caring Dr. To me is the Best in Town. God bless him. Always follow up with his patients. My personal experience he is an Amazing Human. Love Him as my PCP.

Dr. Lerner has been treating me (now 88 years old) and my wife who is 89 for many years. I cannot think of a better internist / PCP than him - and also admire his nurse Marissa Reyes - what a gem!

I've been going to Dr. Lerner for years but am ready to look for a new primary doctor. His office incorrectly coded my last physical and have not corrected the issue, an ongoing dispute for the last 2 months. The medical assistant (Not Marissa who is great) was a flake, disappeared and left me waiting for a long time in the exam room, never had me change for the exam, so I didn't really get an exam. The Dr. spent most of the time on the computer and talking to another facility about another patient. He asked me how I was doing with my blood pressure meds, I told him I'm not on blood pressure meds. He realized he was looking at the wrong chart! He used to call to discuss my blood test results after, not this time. I had to send an email and he sent a brief response. This is not acceptable.

Dr. Lerner is a great doctor with an awesome bedside manner. HE is very caring and very attentive. Also Marissa his nurse is incredible. I am hard patient when it comes to drawing blood (Bad Veins). Marissa get me everytime on the 1st try. Thank you!
