Very professional doctor and took care of my acid reflux! Endoscopy was a snap.

He has the personality of a gnat! He is rude and refuses to speak to family members after doing procedures on your family member. It was actually another doctor from the hospital that had to read his report to us. Had he seen my family member when our GP referred them to him with notes in the referral that said they needed to be seen "ASAP" with specific detailed info. Because they were never called for an appointment they ended up in the hospital with damage to many organs, mainly the heart from internal bleeding. Dr. Tin is a terrible doctor with no bedside manner and not an ounce of empathy for his patients or their family! Run immediately from this practice and most definitely from this doctor.

FOUND DR. TIN SEARCHING INTERNET. 1ST VISIT A YYR. AGO, SEV. SINCE. ENDOSCOPY SCHEDULED, I WAS TERRIFIED. THE WAS COMFORTING,RE- ASSURING, COMPLETED WITH NO AFTER EFFECTS IE: SORE THROAT. ETC. HE LISTENS INTENTLY, TO YOUR CONCERNS, SUGGESTIONS. REFERS TO ( IN MY CASE, SURGEON) FOR INPUT. HE DOESN'T. GIVE UP. HE IS CARING, CALLS YOU HIMSELF! COULDN'T BE HAPPIER WITH DR. TIN.

Dr. Tin was very pleasant. During my appointment for the results of my tests he was very patient with my many questions. He did not try to push me into surgery. He did explain the surgical option & the alternative approach of dealing with my 4 cm hiatal hernia & refux. I would recommend him to my family & friends.

Dr. Tin had no choice to scope this patient it was court ordered, you neglect to say the patient was a criminal and has been caught numerous times with drug possession also has broken into peoples homes and robbed them do you think this patient asked their permission to rob them, now you know how ludicrous you sound. This Dr. is humble and generous and has a considerable amount of compassion for all his patients and even with me.

This physician performed a sigmoidoscopy on a patient even though the patient repeatedly refused. He just knocked the patient out and did. It wasn't because the patient needed it. It was because the police were looking for drugs in the patients rectum. The patient only learned about the procedure when they went to the ER the next day because they were bleeding from the rectum. Physicians are obligated to respect the patient's autonomy. Even if the patient were willing to have a scope inserted in their rectum a physician should only do it if the benefit to the patient were greater than the risk. In this case there was NO BENEFIT to the patient. There is a risk of perforating the colon which would require surgery. Perforation of the colon could result in infection throughout the patient's abdomen which would require IV antibiotics and extensive hospitalization. Any physician with such "flexible" ethics should be avoided at all costs.
