This doctor summited Mount Everest during the infamous "1996 Everest Disaster". He treated the hand of Beck Weathers, one of the climbers who sustained frostbite. I watched him speak as he described the climb and his experience and the medical role he played afterwards. I am surprised that he doesn't have any reviews here yet so here goes.

Worst office experience I ever had with a doctor. After a 2 month wait, they didnt show up for an appt, then said they would no longer accept new patients. When i said I wasnt a new patient, they admitted they lost most of my info and still had to treat me as a new patient. They also had incorrect information on me. When I asked why they cancelled an appt without telling me (I took off half a day and showed up), they admitted trying a phone number they transposed incorrectly, but not trying to send me a letter or contact my insurance co. Rude tome, lack of concern for the inconvenience their multiple errors cost me, etc. DONT GO

Worst office experience I ever had with a doctor at age of 45. They had incorrect information on me, they also lost information, they cancelled an appt without telling me (so I took off half a day and showed up), then after a 2mo wait for an appt to which he didnt show up, they said I am a new patient and he is no longer accepting new patients. I said they accepted the appt and never called me to tell me that either, but they didnt care. I also was not a new patient, but they lost most of my file, only kept some info, which was wrong.

Dr. Kamler performed surgery on my wrist in 2005.His bedside manner is excellent. During all of my visits I always felt as through I had his undivided attention, I did not feel rushed and he put whatever "technical terms" into layman terms so I had a clear understading of what was going on. I recently injured both of my wrists in a car accident and will be going back to him.

If you want a doctor who is really concerned for you and who will spend the time you need, this is the doctor for you.His new arrangement with a medical group has made it more difficult to see him, and has created a longer wait, but he is worth it.
