List of New York Cancer And Blood Specialists - Riverhead Radiation Oncology's Reviews
Dr. Cirrrone saw us without an appointment at the request of Dr. Sharma who felt that he was who we needed to see. He saw us and spent an hour talking and showing us data on his computer. My husband and I both thought he was amazing. We made the decision to go with him for our radiation needs. He was truly exceptional.
NYBCC in riverhead ny terrific however their breast cancer sites for mammograms is the pits you can wait forever to get the results. God forbid there is an issue you are prolong treatment every day you have not heard from their radiologists who are called in to review yooour films totally unacceptable .
Relaxed but thorough presentation. Definitely inspires confidence in his ability.
I had a very informative discussion with Dr Youn and look forward to having him treat my arthritis !!!
The staff is very professional and extremely helpful.
Dr. Youn and his staff have been very supportive and helpful during my husbands journey. He still has yearly follow up appointments. The doctor and his staff are still very concerned with his treatment.
Great experience!
Dr Cerrone is a very good doctor that is nice and friendly
Dr. Youn was pleasant and informative about upcoming treatment plan. Staff was great. Appointment time was on time. Thank you!
Disorganized. Every time I arrive for my appointment, they tell me that they don't have me as a patient for that day. Or that the time they have is different (hours earlier/later). Each time I go, I pay $25 in person. Yet they always bill me for $50 by mail, as if I never paid $25. After my blood test results were sent, they never called me with the results. I called them 3 weeks later asking for the results, and they finally told me. But they were basic: "Everything looks fine." I often ask questions about my health issues. Every person there replies, "I don't know." What's the point of going somewhere where nobody knows anything? Only one doctor there is brilliant: Dr. Nawaz. He always knows the answers. Recent problem with organization: I have been calling to speak with Dr. Nawaz for four weeks, and he never called me back! Instead, a covering nurse called me. Yet they tell me nothing but "I don't know." I told them the above today and am hoping that the only person who knows something calls me tomorrow, like they said he would. I then will stop going to the useless place. Yes, the only smart doctor did finally call me the next day. But for the 15-30 minute appointment my family paid for last month, Dr. Nawaz rushed me. It does make sense that he was in between seeing other patients - I understand that. Yet I got not even half of my questions answered briefly. Then the doctor said he had to go see his patients. I have very low phosphate so my kidney doctor told me to add this statement to ask Dr. Nawaz about. No time to, got cut off. There's no way I'm ever going back. Low quality, useless company who only works for money, which even tries to rip me off every time I go. NYU Medical center is great. I had brain surgery there for epilepsy in 2008. I'm going to NYU Medical Center from now on. Other great medical centers I'd recommend includes Mount Sinai and Stony Brook University Hospital. Good luck.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
