Dr Wensel is a great doctor. He did a spinal fusion on me and it went very well. The reason for the low score is because he has the nastiest staff. The office girls are rude and not helpful. Would not go back.

Dr. Wensel's Office Manager, Laura, was professionally rude and arrogant. My husband was scheduled for an August 10th morning appointment. An HOUR before his appointment the office called to reschedule due to an emergency surgery. Understood. The next available morning appointment was scheduled for September28th. Of course I requested a sooner date in that my husband's pain was very bad. But because we needed a morning appointment, there was nothing available. So we went for the 9:30am appointment. Now we have issues with paperwork. I, errantly, completed the questionnaire on "My Chart". However, I was informed. we needed to bring the physical paperwork sent to us in JUNE. By the time Laura finished scolding us for not having paperwork, and telling my husband, who was in a wheelchair, that the chsir would not fit through the doorways, my husband became very upset and anxious. Laura showed very little respect nor empathy. We left without seeing Dr. Wensel.

I had neck surgery last year he is caring and I was able to do things I could not do before my injury he is a good doctor . I recommend him

I am 7 months post surgery and I am unhappy with the results of my laminectomy. Pre-surgery I was experiencing leg weakness and foot drop on my left side. Post surgery I am experiencing leg weakness and foot drop on both sides. I have been very faithful with exercise and am building muscle but, my legs remain unresponsive. At least I have no pain. I regret having had the surgery. In good conscious, I cannot recommend Dr. Wensel.

Dr. Wensel is GOD!!!! I've been in pain for the past 6 months and the surgery he had performed on my neck totally corrected my problems. NO PAIN NO MORE!!! "The Gental Giant" WOW!!!! Love Ya Doc!!!!

Dr Wensel and hisoffice have been great. He found a synovial cyst that a local neurosurgeon from Guthrie missed on my MRI. It was nice to have someone actually examine me and not be dismissive.

I was so happy when I awoke and didn't feel any pain, that's the good meds, well when they were finish working Oh my!!!!! The pain was awful and I complained for years, the Dr. Didn"t like that,so I went else where. Had surgery in 2010 was injured in 2000. Now it's 2017 and I need a lumbar fusion? Wow 17 years later still in pain, hope this one works better for me, god is on my side and only he knows best Amen
