I met Dr Solazzo due for moving into Rochester. I was surprised to find him intelligent, opinionated and load. Honestly I don’t care who hears about my health issues. In my 70 years of living it is/was refreshing to listen to the man impart as much knowledge on a perticular subject as he could and then move on to the next. I got what I wanted and the Doc did too, I believe. Been back twice more and did a tele-conference with him to get approved for UTI treatment and it worked from start to finish. I

Awful bedside manner, rude and condescending to both patients and families. You are better off not have any doctor than having him handle your health.

If you’re looking for someone with soothing bedside manner, he’s probably not your man. However, if you’re looking for a thorough, competent clinician who relies on evidenced-based medicine I’d recommend him. He got back to me quickly, explained things thoroughly, and followed through with me.

Tony has been my MD for quite a few years. Not only does he listen well and address every concern, he moves mountains to get you effective treatment quickly. From his initial diagnosis to scans/lab tests and consultation with the appropriate specialist, he makes it happen. In one instance, he made all that happen on the same day! Most importantly, he knows me. Can you say that about YOUR current MD?

Dr. Solazzo is very inappropriate and does not provide adequate care. My partner, which chronic pain and Dr. Solazzo medical advice was"deal with the pain". For perspective, he has arthritis in his lower back and is in pain majority of the days. My partner has been out of work due to his chronic back pain and also because of his mental health. In one of his last appointments with Dr. Solazzo, after being diagnosed with severe depression and panic attacks, Dr. Solazzo proceeded to tell him that he "just needs to get a job". I would also like to point out my partner is a person of color. If I could give 0 stars (or negative stars) I would. He has since switched PCPs and his new Dr has done more for him in one appointment then Dr. Solazzo has done in the years he has seen him.
