Called to ask a couple questions about my results and what is the next steps and the receptionist kept getting an attitude and hung up on me after finally understanding what I was asking. That person should be fired

Dr. Darrick is very thorough with his attention to detail. The staff there is outstanding. No matter how many times I call the office they're very patient, professional and kind.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff from intake phone calls to in person appointments. Great bedside manor as well, which I'm finding harder to see within specialist practices nowadays. *kudos* From the doctor to the PA and also the first nurse checking me in were all exceedingly thorough. This was all while trying to keep me as comfortable as possible, considering nerve testing is no trip to the spa. Facility is very clean, waiting room is welcoming with nicer medical office chairs, and both times I've been I've had no problem finding parking right in front of their office. I would highly recommend Dr. Alaimo's office if you're in need of any nerve testing or neurological specialties. I've been through a handful of places already myself.. and they're the best in the area.

Dr. Alaimo was on a sheet of paper of other Neurologist to pick from. I picked him. For a Nerve Conduction Test . I myself have been going to Neurologist for many years, so I’m very familiar with their neurology exam. But I would like 👍 to give Mr. & Mrs. Alaimo a plus 10* Star ⭐️ Review they were both very professional, friendly, talked to me about the produce & explained in very detail & during the test what was gonna happen. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR. ALAIMO IF YOUR LOOKING 👀 FOR A NEUROLOGIST. AND HIS OFFICE TEAM WAS AWESOME 👏 ALSO. Thank you 😊 for a wonderful experience. Mrs. C Montante

Dr. Alaimo and his staff are amazing! I had to have some tests done, and his knowledge and bedside manner couldn't have been any better! I highly recommend him!

Excellent practioner and a GOOD PERSON

Dr. Alaimo doesn't listen to his patients. His response to me with left sided neck pain and left sided headaches was to give me meds, which could only be taken for short term. For 11 months, he also referred me for Physical Therapy, which could have caused further damage to my spine. I asked for imaging...he refused! He said you had an MRI in June 2020, I began seeing him in winter 2021, The MRI I received in June 2020 was of my head to rule out a stroke during a hospitalization. I was complaining of left sided neck pain and left sided headaches. His response was always, "Well, we know you don't have a brain tumor". Obviously not listening. This happened several times where he refused imaging. I finally left his practice, was able to get an MRI, only to find out I needed spinal surgery to prevent future irreparable paralysis. Thank God I listened to my body and advocated for myself. The surgery didn't fix my left sided neck pain or headache, but the imaging allowed the neurosurgeon to see that my C4-C7 were severely compressing my spinal column. The scary part was I had little to no symptoms for this. Had Dr. Alaimo sent me for a simple cervical x-ray he would have discovered this, and not wasted 11 months of my life, frustration and $$. There are plenty of great Neurologists in Rochester, Dr. Alaimo is one I would stay clear of! His office staff is amazing which is the only reason he got one star. One the staff person that brought me to my room, she was thorough, but he didn't like something she did, so he was raising his voice in the hall to correct her...I think it's time he retire. If you are seeing him and have had similar issues please call patient relations at Rochester Regional Health so they can do further investigating. I pray this man doesn't or hasn't already ruined someone's life. PLEASE ADVOCATE FOR YOURSELF!

I highly recommend Dr. Alaimo. Very kind, thorough, and has a great bedside manner. Thr office staff is also amazing!

Saw Dr. Alaimo for 11 months, I see it as having wasted 11 months of my life. He absolutely refused to order imaging for me, I had neck pain, and several symptoms...he kept telling me I had a head mri in June 2020..."we know you don't have a brain tumor". I can't tell you how many times he said this. He kept offering medication...and PT. I finally switched neurologists, got a neck x-ray, which showed extensive damage/issues...finally was approved for an MRI...and it was discovered that I have spinal stenosis and there are areas of my spine that are being compressed causing my symptoms. I am thankful that Alaimo is in my rearview mirror at this point and am glad I am moving towards surgery and healing. Very frustrated with Alaimo and he did me a total disservice by not ordering imaging. PT helped to improve my symptoms after the imaging, as it allowed the therapist to see what they were working with! Doctors need to listen to their patients. We don't all fit into one box.

He is extremely thorough and explains things well. I felt like a person, not a number. Excellent staff as well.
