No issues with the doctors but the office staff is very rude and condescending on the phone. You call hoping to get best care for your child and faced with such Barriers just making an appointment.

After filing out a electronic survey about their practice and giving a mediocre review (after their office made errors on two occasions regarding referrals), we received a letter in the mail two weeks later dropping our 14 year old son from their practice after about 9 years. Seriously? Not professional in the least bit.

Nothing but good things to say about Elmwood Pediatrics. Granted we have limited experience (maybe 4 visits total) for our 3 month old, all the visits have been positive experiences. The nurses, nurse practitioners and physicians have all been great with our little one. They were open Saturday when we had our first newborn visit, which was convenient and reassuring to us as first-time parents. Drs. Bauer and Cleary have great bedside manner and I trust them fully in caring for my child. Luckily we haven't had any urgent visits, but all our routine visits have been great.

This place is nice. They are very accommodating in response to emergencies. The Drs are very professional and polite that also goes along for the nurses and front desk staff.

Everything about our first newborn visit to this office was horrible. When I called to make the appt, they tried to tell me that my prenatal appt had been with a different doctor than it was, and then when they realized their mistake there were no apologies. Following that correction, they made two more errors that we noticed when checking out after our appt. During the appt., both of the nurses we saw were not people we'd want caring for our child. The first girl sacked him in the head with her tape measure and took forever to get blood from his heel for the bilirubin test. Then the nurse practitioner came in - she should not be doing newborn checks. She had terrible bedside manner, bringing up that we'd previously miscarried, not explaining the process for the checkup or what she was doing or needed us to do, not answering any of our questions clearly and then giving us a discharge sheet that made mention of drops which she'd never talked about during the appt. she also made implications about my breastfeeding that were rude and inaccurate, which she'd have known had she listened to the answers I gave her during her line of questioning. My husband and I both left appalled and will NOT go back to this office. Our actual pediatrician is mapped to the Bushnells Basin office so we will give them another try but if we experience anything similar to today's experience ever again we're leaving this practice immediately.

We have been with this group for almost 12 years. I'm sorry to say the last year has been very disappointing. I've been asking to talk to the office manager about their hours as I would like to see some earlier and later availability for parents like us who are both working. Three times now I have left messages to talk to the office manager and she has not once called me back. I also sent in a survey asking to be contacted to discuss my concerns and was never called back. Looks like we will be switching doctors immediately.

Always very fast and courteous with the kids check ups I take all five of my children here.

All 3 of our kids have been seeing doctors here for over ten years. No problems getting emergency appointments, even on weekends. Great bedside manner!

Best pediatrician office ever!!! Been with them for 27 years

Dr. Porter is so thorough and so very sweet to my children!!! So glad we switched from Mendon Pediatrics!
