can't diagnose Graves' Disease to save his soul. I was sick for years until I went to Cleveland Clinic. they found it in 2 days!

As a woman with PCOS going through menopause, I went to Dr. Bingham with complaints of weight gain, fatigue, etc... I knew my hormones were off and I wasn't sure if HRT was the answer. I explained how healthy I eat, that I work out three days a week and walk nearly every day (I have two dogs who demand it!). I was advised to exercise even more and cut back on calories even more than I had. He had a student with him whom he turned to and said "That's how I got into shape. It worked for me." Clearly he didn't believe a word I said and so I explained again how I've been doing so and it wasn't working! I was dumbfounded and honestly, I felt absolutely deflated as I left his office. This was an endocrinologist who I placed my trust in and he couldn't be bothered to run bloodwork to see if something was going on? He basically said the only other thing to test for would be Cushing's syndrome - which did not fit my profile or symptoms at all. As an RN, I knew better and discarded that test. It took me awhile to go back to my GYN NP who originally sent me to him. I explained what happened and she requested bloodwork. My TSH/T4 values clearly showed hypothyroidism. I had to go back to my GP who started me on Levothyroxine and ordered an ultra sound. Chances are this is an auto-immune issue, Hashimoto's. Either way, I was not taken seriously and was completely brushed off by Dr. Bingham. If you are a woman going through menopause, I would suggest finding a different doctor who might actually believe you. There is nothing worse than feeling like you haven't been taken seriously and then finding out there was something very wrong after all. YOU are your best patient advocate! If you feel something isn't right, keep asking for help. One of them is bound to believe you, just as my NP did.

Dr. Bingham has helped me manage my endocrine issues for several years. I recommend him to anyone needing endocrinology care.

I could not imagine a better endocrinologist to deal with my hypothyroidism. He is friendly, personable. and exceptionally competent.

I have been seeing Dr. Bingham for many years and am looking forward to my next visit with him in 1 month. He really listens to me and has an excellent "beside" manner. His staff and nurse are also kind and very patient!

Husband started with him as diabetic. Did nothing but continue to increase insulin. Didn't notice obvious symptoms of pituitary tumor. After diagnose by another source, his response was ya thought you had those symptoms. Said he would follow up with a neurosurgeon. Never did. Changed endrocronoglist and insulin was cut down immensely. Wouldn't recommend.

Great doctor, down to earth. Really listens to his patients needs and desires. Also does not rush you thru the appointment. Highly recommend.

Dr. Bingham, is a very calm, considerate,caring and knowledgeable Dr. I have a Thyroid issue. Actually, a lack of Thyroid. It was removed in 2008. Since, about 2 years ago my TSH levels have been on a roller coaster. I'm sure some of you can relate . It's not Fun ! Dr. Bingham, takes the time to listen to YOU. That is very important. Who knows your body better then you. It's a BEAUTIFUL thing when you have a Dr., that listens to you and comes up with a Solution! Thank you, Dr. Bingham!

Dr. Bingham is an awesome doctor. I highly recommend him to anybody.
