Dr. Rashid is an awesome orthopedic surgeon based on my experience of having an elbow tendon repair and a total knee replacement. She thoroughly explains treatment options, takes time during appointments to listen to you, and demonstrates concern and compassion. I have recommended her to my friends and trust her as my doctor.

Dr. Rashid took the time to listen to my health history. After hearing what I had to say she asked important medical questions, looked at my chart and X-rays and offered her opinion and plan of action. Only at the end of my exam did she enter information by laptop to my chart. She asked if I had any further questions. Her suggestions made absolute sense to me and has helped me get my active life back. I have recommended Dr. Rashid to friends.

Dr. Rashid exceeded all my expectations. My hip replacement surgery went well and if I ever need an Ortho Surgeon again she will be my first choice!

Dr Rashid is very professional and a talented surgeon. I recently had a total knee replacement. Within three weeks, I was walking without any walker or cane. I am a 60-year-old overweight woman, so I am not a younger fit person. By using the ice packs and doing the home exercises I have far exceeded expectations. Icing the knee is key to improvement and swelling reduction; use it 24/7. I believe some of that is due to my own willingness to get better but the majority of my improvement is due to Dr. Rashid and her surgical expertise in the Operating Room . Be advised everyone heals differently and pain tolerance varies, but Dr. Rashid gives you the new knee to improve your quality of life. I highly recommend Dr. Rashid for your orthopedic surgical needs.

Listened to my concerns, was kind, pleasant and very knowledgeable. Made a decision based on my comments. Felt very comfortable in my first visit with her. My previous wonderful doctor had moved away and she is proving to be a tremendous replacement.

I had knee replacement surgery one year ago and was so apprehensive I didn’t think I could go through with it. Dr Rashid was wonderful and caring. The surgery was easier than I thought it would be and the recovery went smoothly. I have recommended Dr Rashid to many friends and relatives.

Dr. Rashid performed a total knee replacement on me. I was in so much pain before the surgery. It will be three months tomorrow since my surgery. My new knee is working great! No pain! My incision is so much neater than my many friends who had same surgery from other doctors! I am so glad I found her!
