Dr. Hughes is so patient with our son who has autism. She makes everything quick when he needs that, and is patient to show him each item when he needs that too. She’s very knowledgeable about medications and helps us make the best choices for him. I cannot recommend this practice enough, everyone is great from the moment you walk in and are greeted by receptionists to the amazing nurses.

We have been with Westside for 9 years and will no longer be taking our children here. The staff at the front desk is no help. They place you on hold forever and then tell you there are no appointments so then when you try to speak to a nurse, the women tell you to go to urgent care for something so minor and refuse to pass a note along. Terrible!!! Especially when we are still in the times of Covid, so yes let’s expose kids for something so small. Sad they refuse to help!!!

Helpful, friendly staff with little to no wait time to be seen. Dr. Hughes and her nurse Debbie are absolutely amazing - understanding and willing to go above and beyond. So glad I chose this office for my twins.

Great practice. We see Dr. Hughes and love her. Usually have same day appts when your child is ill. They know when to refer out to a specialist. When my children have an issue and I call the nurse line, Dr. Hughes will sometimes call me back herself (vs. one of the nurses). My kids actually like going to the doctor. I had to take one of my kids to the ER and she also followed up with us. They also still visit your newborn in the hospital. A lot of practices don't anymore

This place is one of the best in Rochester! I had to find a doc for my son temporary! Other places wouldn't accept him without all his medical records and my health insurance info! This place took over and sent all the paperwork to my old doctor to get his paperwork ASAP so that we could move forward.they charged my insurance company for things that I didn't need or request.
