List of Daniel Garibaldi's Reviews
Dr Garibaldi did not check on me after eye surgery, not even a phone call from a nurse the next day to see how I am doing. Disappointed in Dr Garibaldi, does not care about the patient at all, very cold and detached.
I was treated by Dr. Garibaldi years ago, and I am embarrassed to say that it has taken this long to thank him for his diagnosis and treatment. He looked at my skin around my eyes and told me that he suspected that I had sleep apnea. I was tested and he was right on the mark. I was unable to view many objects with my lack of peripheral vision. He did the corrective procedure, and it was 100% effective. He is a wonderful doctor, and I would recommend him without hesitation.
Very competent! Great physician
Dr. Daniel Garibaldi is a GREAT DOCTOR. We are very lucky to have found him. He recently removed a stye from my mom’s eyelid that was sent out for a biopsy. Unfortunately it came back as cancer. Dr. Garibaldi knew it was cancer when he removed the stye but was gentle and saying that even though it looked like it might be he wasn’t sure until it was sent out to the lab to have it tested. From the moment it came Back from the lab as cancer he has done everything right. He has even called up my mom’s breast oncologist to speak to him and see what can be done. He has recommended the best Doctor to have this removed chief of Columbia Presbystrian University Hospital. He has called to see what is going on with her treatment even though my mom is really not in his care anymore. What I really want to say is that there’s very few doctors like him. He is very smart and extremely caring. Can’t get better than this Dr. Garibaldi! Thank you Dr. Garibaldi for all the extra time given to my mom!
Dr. Garibaldi was not professional and insulting on my visit with him that I spoke to the staff about my horrible experience and they 'apologized' but his poor bedside manner will not change. Do NOT recommend.
I'm very particular when choosing a doctor. Especially a surgeon. I judge the waiting rooms and the office decor, the staff and of course the doctor. Dr. Garibaldi hit the nail on the head with just about everything I look for. The staff is quick and to the point. Appointments usually run on time or no more than 20 minutes waiting which is a miracle for most offices these days. I recently underwent eyelid surgery and was extremely nervous and almost canceled. His staff and himself reassured me that everything was going to be fine and they just made me feel so comfortable. You just kind of know that you're in good hands and he's a great surgeon!
I saw Dr. Garibaldi at OCLI in Garden City on January 11, 2018, after doing research to find a dry eye specialist. I found Dr. Marguerite McDonald at OCLI and she referred me to Dr. Garibaldi. He removed a Chaliazion that I have had for almost a year. The other doctor that I was seeing last year, first told me she would remove it and then she obviously changed her mind. Dr. Garibaldi did an exceptional job. My eye looks normal again. No bruising, minimal swelling and no discomfort.
I had a wart on my eyelid that Dr Garibaldi removed. He is thorough and tells you everything during exam. I couldn't have been happier with him. I highly recommend him.
Seemed disinterested in the pain I was having in my eyes. Said I should live with it. Did not have the ability to help me. Very cold bedside manner. I would never go back to this doctor.
He's not a professional at all. He was not attentive and he insisted I pay out of pocket for services which are paid for by insurance.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
