Edmund Tomlinson's Online Review Report Card

I got pregnant for the first time in August 2020. When my Gyno didn't do OB, the office referred me to Dr Tomlinson. I hadn't had a male doctor since my pediatrician, but I didn't want to change offices so soon so I decided to meet him. He was great! He kept me at ease throughout my entire pregnancy. When it came time for delivery, which was 6 weeks early, he still managed to keep me calm. I knew I was in great hands and care .Delivery wasn't as easy as I thought but he helped me get through it all. I will most definitely be seeing him when I'm pregnant again and recommend him highly to all I can! If you're hesitant like I was, Dr Tomlinson is the way to go! 👍🏻👍🏻

Very thankful for the care I’ve always had from Dr. Tomlinson and his staff. I’ve been a patient for over 13 years and I know my health and safety is the top priority. He is the doctor who delivered me when I was born and he also oversaw my pregnancy. Dr. T always answers any of my questions with honesty and expertise. I appreciate his straightforward attitude and sense of humor. I regularly recommend this office!

El Dr. es muy brusco tratando mujeres, no debe de ejercer esa profesión, cuando me hizo el Papa Nicoleau hasta sangré luego en mi ropa interior, tampoco tiene ninguna delicadeza, no vuelvo nunca más además, nunca me llamaron de la oficina para decirme el resultado de los análisis. Fuí con una infección en la orina y no me recetó ninguna medicina, cambiaré de médico.

I have long hesitated writing anything about my experience with this doctor but I need to get it off my chest. I was rushed to the emergency room with severe abdominal pain, when they realized I was likely having an ectopic pregnancy my OB was called. He was not available and Tomlinson was called. To say he has the worst bedside manner I've ever experienced would be an understatement. He was verbally abusive and dismissive to me. He was grilling me for answers and essentially accusing me of lying that I knew how far along I was (I didn't even know I was pregnant to that point). I was trying to make light of the situation and not freak my husband and son out, well that was apparently not the correct emotion to have for Dr Tomlinson who barked at me for making a joke. I almost died, you made it seem like I was bothering you and that you would rather be anywhere else. Any time ANYONE asks for a recommendation I tell them how horrible you were to me.

I’ve been going to this practice forever and when I was first pregnant, I met Dr. Tomlinson. He’s helped me through pregnancy losses and a healthy delivery. He’s always been respectful and answered any kind of crazy question I had. He’s always running on time with appointments and always makes sure he answers all my questions before ending the visit. He’s thorough and to the point.

Dr. Tomlinson is a great doctor. Straight shooter, thorough and doesn’t keep you waiting too long. He is not a coddler, so If you want a doctor that will baby you, he isn’t that kind of doctor. He will tell you how it is without beating around the bush.

After moving to Long Island from Queens, I was in need of a new ob/gyn. I’ve only ever had female doctors, but I was having a hard time finding one that was accepting new patients. I originally called Prohealth to make an appointment with the female doctor there, but was told that she was not accepting new patients. The receptionist was so amazing and convinced me to make an appointment with Doctor Tomlinson instead and I’m so glad I did ! Doctor Tomilson provided my prenatal care and delivered my daughter. He is super knowledgeable, and has a good sense of humor. What I liked most is that he is very blunt and to the point- no sugarcoating. I can honestly say that I enjoyed my care under Doctor Tomlinson.

Always on time with appointments and super friendly. Always answers my questions and great manners! Will be going back for future pregnancies

He was the doctor who oversaw the birth of my baby. Very good Doctor.

He is the worst gyno ever. He asked questions, and when I tried to answer “don’t cut me off, I’m the doctor”. The worst bedside manner, inconsiderate, and all around an awful man to be handling such a sensitive matter. Shameful. I will never go back. He is HORRIBLE. Run run run far away from him.
