I recommended OCLI to my husband for his cataract surgeries. I have used them for years and have been more than please with my Dr., Russell Fumoso. He’s professional, knowledge and a true pleasure to deal with. Dr. Saha was my husband’s Dr. and was very pleasant until post surgery concerns arose and he told my husband to see a retina specialist. Naturally my husband was concerned when he was told he has inflammation in both retinas. When he asked what could the possible treatment be, he was told, “ that’s why I’m sending you to the specialist.” My husband didn’t want specifics, just an idea of what he might be facing. Dr. Saha’s compassion and concern for his patient leave a lot to be desired. He could have given him some general information and some reassurance, but instead he said nothing to help put his mind at ease.

Dr. Saha and his team were amazing! I got LASIK and he answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns. The procedure itself was so quick and Dr. Saha took the time to explain each step to me while it happened! I had an amazing experience and would recommend him to everyone.

I believe this doctor is very knowledgeable about ophthalmology, however he spoke above the scope of knowledge of his patient (very senior),had poor bedside manner (almost robotic/calculated) and the final interaction with him was extremely uncomfortable and disrespectful (he walked out after saying something rude) to the point of changing doctors after giving things a chance. Everyone has a bad day, but 3 times with prickly characteristics is a personality. He would probably work very well in a lab. Despite him, his office staff and nurses were fantastic!

I had my first consultation with Dr Saha today. I had such a satisfying experience with him. He made sure to answer all my questions and concerns. Dr Saha also went over what surgery options are suitable for my vision. Looking forward to my surgery with him and future appts.

I consulted with Dr. Surajit Saha for LASIK surgery when he advised me on an alternate procedure I've never heard of. It turns out PRK surgery was a better fit for my eye condition. I appreciated Dr. Saha's honesty when he told me PRK had a longer healing/downtime compared to LASIK. As a nurse, I had a very busy schedule but I value my eyes way more. I'm glad I went ahead with it! What was equally important on my decision to proceed was Dr. Saha's chairside manner. He is a patient, mild, and cheerful professional. Post-op year 1, I got dry eyes almost daily. Dr. Saha was present for all of the interval visits. The follow up visits assured me that with time this condition will subside. July is two years post-op and my eyes are better than 20/20. I get occasional dry eyes, but for me the benefits outweigh the risks. I wait for the time when "no resident will say 'I am sick.'"
