Dr. Sonstein is a total pro. Anyone experiencing back problems should make an appointment to see him. He performed my surgery 17 years ago for a herniated disc and I never had another problem. Recently, after all this time, I developed some pain due to an impinged nerve that was treated by a great physical therapist named Michael Wirth that Dr. Sonstein referred me to. I am now pain free. Dr. Wirth was hand-picked by Dr. Sonstein, not just selected at random. He took the time to visit his office, inspect the facilities, and interview Dr. Wirth to make sure his patients would be in good hands.

I feel that Dr Sonstien Was very knowledgeable an understanding he made me feel very comfortable in the office because I felt like I was in good hands he did not rush to any procedures but gave me the best advice possible for my personal condition sometimes trust between the doctor and the patient can be strained due to mistrust I was very satisfied with the advice doctor Sonstien Had given me . He was highly recommended by another healthcare professional and I am very glad I took that good advice. I will find out in time how everything he’s going to turn out in my situation.

My initial consultation with Dr. Sonstein was a particularly positive experience. Staff was friendly and organized. The doctor saw me right on schedule. I wasn’t rushed and was able to fully explain history and location of my pain and help doctor gain some insight. After physical exam Dr. pulled up my mri explaining location and cause of nerve pain. He explained the surgery for relief thoroughly and I never felt pressured to schedule surgery immediately. He suggested I continue a more conservative treatment until it was exhausted. I left more informed and with a backup plan for my health.

I had a great consultation with Dr. Sonstein. He was very thorough and empathetic, compassionate. The appointment didn’t feel rushed wish I liked too. I’m very nervous to get surgery but he made me feel as though I was going to be ok, told me any risks involved, recovery, what to expect etc I really appreciated his bedside manner. I came out of that appointment more at ease. His staff is equally nice as well. Check him out!

Received Excellent care from Dr Sonstein and his entire staff at the NSPC Brain and Spine Mobile Unit! Simple, easy, and comprehensive appointment for lower back pain. Very helpful and enjoyable experience for myself and the staff at the Town of Babylon! Dr Sonstein is incredibly knowledgeable and uses every avenue to help his patients! Highly recommend a visit for any back/neck/shoulder pain.
