Great doctor.

I went to Doctor Ferrara for wrist pain about a year ago, wrist pain so severe that it debilitated me from my daily life. He had me go to physical therapy and the therapists tried their best to ease my pain and believed that the issue was severe. He referred me to get a nerve test by doctor Jorgenson which was quite painful, and he said from that that I didn't have much if any noticeable nerve damage. From there he told me I just had very minor carpal tunnel syndrome and that it wasn't a big deal, basically. My physical therapists highly recommended that I get a cortisone shot in my wrist to help with the pain and so we set up an appointment for that. On the day of the injection appointment I went to the room and Dr.Ferrara was there with an assistant who performed injections. He then proceeded to tell me that my pain was not severe enough to do an injection after all and the appointment ended up only being 5 minutes long ( he is always in a rush) which ended in hopelessness and tears. He then sent me to a spine doctor (which unfortunately did not help either) and said he couldn't help me even though he is the wrist specialist, and it felt like he didn't believe my pain. Pain has only gotten worse and I don't know to do right now or where to go because I can't to do anything anymore I had to voice type this comment because I can't type but I definitely will not be going back to doctor Ferrara. Losing hope....

He did not want to listen to stating thumb was my problem. He insisted that I need surgery on my wrist. After several months I decided that he was right as I was not getting any better. Well after the surgery and cast, I was not able to move my thumb at all. His response was... I did. It operate on your thins and stormed out of the room after I said no to my surgery.

after sending me for electronic tests, he insisted that he would not inject my wrists for carpal tunnel but continued to insist on cutting both arms against my wishes. he finally injected both arms then stormed out of the room like a little kid who lost a fight. no instructions, followup....no nothing. awful experience.

He said my wrist was healing good took my cast off went to another Dr put cast back on said need surgery

He refused to treat my broken wrist for three months. He finally decided to take a second look and had it casted. After four months of being casted he said it was healed. I just found out, eight years later at a different practice, it never healed.He was arrogant and rude to me. He treated me when I was just a teenager, I regret not going to someone else.

Three fractures in hand...PA, not doctor, saw patient and sent him for casting...after 3 weeks fingers healed crooked because all fingers except thumb had been splinted/cast together. Cast came off at three weeks and now patient cannot make a fist. Doctor never saw him until three weeks after injury and cast came off. Be certain to see physician and don't leave it up to the casting tech to decide the best way to proceed.
