Dr. Dow takes the time and has the empathy to ask the right questions is prompt with all follow up test results and feed back.I am extremely pleased to have found such a wonderful doctor.
Dr Dow is a very thorough and kind doctor. She makes sure that your record is up to date. The office is beautiful and the staff are nice. Wait was not that long.
very thorough and kind prompt replies to any questions.
Unresponsive. Took 3 calls to get a late response to an ear infection. Failed to refill needed prescriptions after leaving a detailed message and I ran out of meds.
The doctor abruptly cancelled the appointment because her indifferent office manager was taking too long verifying new patient information. The office manager left without even apologizing for my trouble. It was a very negative experience overall and as a new patient I felt unwelcomed. I reached out to the owner but besides a polite email, there was no follow up addressing the issue. Thanks.
Dr. Dow is very thorough and great for regular, routine checkups, however the practice was not helpful during a very rough few weeks of a medical emergency -- one that I had been under her care for at the start and that she told me was serious and should not be ignored. As the problem continued and my condition worsened despite the antibiotics that were prescribed, she had no sick visits available and was not accessible even for a simple phone call (all during business hours and on weekdays), despite my calls and emails on the app. I pleaded with the front office to please have her call me to get advice or even switch the antibiotic and each time was told to either wait for her next available appointment (over a week away) or go to the emergency room. Zero flexibility to fit me in or even get another doctor to call me -- was constantly told everyone was busy. Since she was the one who originally treated me, I was shocked by the fact that I was being told to go to an ER -- this was not ER worthy, but was still painful and serious nonetheless. And, as a mother of small children whom I would have to find care for in order to sit hours at the ER, this seemed insane. Plus, it was during high infection rates of COVID, so the last place I wanted to be was in an ER (my issue was not COVID related). It was VERY disappointing to not have her serve as a quarterback for me given her role as my primary care physician. When I spoke with her, she was cold, curt, and made it clear that their practice was not set up in a manner that can do much for these situations unless they had sick visit appointments available and that they are very busy. She again advised that urgent care or ER is my only option. I was shocked.
TERRIBLE!

Very Professional and caring listens .....
Very kind, caring doctor. She spent so much time with my mom to make sure everything was covered.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
