Very HORRIBLE practice!! They mis-booked my appointment twice and made me come all the way down here from CT and wouldn’t accommodate me with another doctor. How do you have a computer and misbook an appointment twice!!! Very unprofessional and would not recommend!

I will never go back to this place. I've only been to doctor Mehta 3-4 times but every time I do I never feel cared about. It's always a rush and I am never asked about my concerns - what's the point of having patients fill out that form in the waiting room? When following up with my results 3 days later via the Portal Maria their receptionist called leaving a voicemail regarding my message to Dr. Mehta in the portal. Maria didn't even see that I was following up from my appointment (which it stated) and asked if I wanted to come in regarding my question in the portal? I explained that I had an appointment Friday and I was following up with my Annual results because the portal does not have a follow up option. Maria was condensing and stated that it would be 2 weeks before my PAP results would come in. When I explained to her that no one informed me that it would be two weeks her response was "Well I'm telling you NOW" - When i told her that i was unhappy with their practice she asked if I wanted to speak to the office manager - I waited for about 10 minutes but the office manager never picked up. I have PCOS and it's frustrating enough to have been misdiagnosed and not cared for properly by my previous OB but to come to this and have this type of service - and I work for New York Presbyterian- This was horrible experience.

I love Dr. Mehta. She has always been patient with me and has always answered all of my questions. After having a miscarriage at another OBGYN, I found her and she kept me so calm during my pregnancy. Even if I called multiple times with the same question , she was happy to call me back and assured me all was okay. I am very surprised at the reviews, and perhaps her personality is just not for you. But she is very knowledgeable and I love how she eases all worries you may have, especially when you have gone through a loss before. Thank you Dr. Mehta!

I am also a first time mother and Dr.Mehta is the worst doctor I have ever seen. She is so rude/disrespectful and very antagonizing. She would not listen to any of my questions. She left me in agonizing pain and withheld the medication until I would make a decision if I would approve to have a cesarean instead of a natural birth.

Beautiful my dr she’s the best she delivered my two beautiful daughters. I love her so much .

Personally I don’t see why these comments are sooo bad. My first visit with Dr Mehta was amazing she made me feel comfortable. She sat down right in front of me, with her full attention, addressing my every concern about my planned pregnancy. She was sweet and kind and took her time. The only bad thing is that most of my other appointments we’re rushed .. we didn’t talk much .. but she did answer my questions if I had any. I’d like her to take longer with me with every appt. otherwise great

Dr Mehta rushes you through each appointment and does not care to listen to her patients what so ever! She is patronizing when she does speak, and I’ve left each of my prenatal appointments with a bad taste in my mouth. Learn how to listen and have some bedside manner if you want to be a decent OB GYN!

She was far more concerned about payment for tests than actually listening to the patient. Most of the questions I had for her were replied with "I don't know". She is not knowledgeable of anything related to obstetrics or gynecology. Additionally, you can feel her disrespect through the phone. Dr. Mehta is just rude, unfriendly, and incapable. I am never visiting her again, and I don't recommend her.

I'd NEVER recommend Dr. Mehta to anyone, especially 1st time moms. She's careless, not patient-friendly, does not follow-up with her patients and is simply unreliable. I am a 1st time mom who's had a rough start w/a well-planned pregnancy. After my 1st prenatal visit where she DID NOTHING but fill my head w/doubts & unnecessary worries, she promised to call me and discuss test result the next day. 3 days went by and I had to ask clinic to have a diff. Dr. read the results. Again, NOT reliable!
