Dr. Smith is the absolute best in this field. She listens to me and really takes into consideration everything that I say. I wish all doctors could be as patient and caring as she is. She has truly improved my quality of life by providing me with excellent care. I highly recommend her!

I’m 29 weeks pregnant and currently find myself search for a new OBGYN due to Dr. Smith’s neglect. During my entire pregnancy I never felt that my concerns were taken seriously or even heard by Dr. Smith. I also felt rushed at every appointment. I have never had a conversation that lasted more than 5 minutes with her. However, I was willing to overlook that until this past week when her negligence and careless attitude towards me became undeniable. On 8/2 I took the 3 hours glucose test. I never heard from anyone in the practice about the results. I foolishly assumed I had passed. Until 8/25 when I had a follow up with Dr. Smith. Because she did not bring up the test, I did so. Only the. She was prompted to check my results. Turns out, I do have gestational diabetes an information I would have never known and therefore continue to possibly harm my child should I have not asked. As a health care provider ( behavioral, physical), I can assure you that checking a patient’s test results is standard practice. Sadly the story does not end there. To make matters worse, on 8/27 I received a message from another doctor in the same practice informing me that I do not have GD only to 20 minutes later receive a voice message from the same doctor saying that she had made a mistake and that I do have GD. When I contacted the practice to find out what was happening, I was informed that my lab was ordered under the other doctor’s name therefore the results when to her and due to a change in medical record system, she did not get my results until that day. I’m not exonerating that doctor from her responsibility for following up on labs ordered under her name but I do believe that Dr. Smith as my doctor should have checked the results upon her return to the office. E.g. of Dr. Smith’s disregard Never bothered to inform me when my significant other could attend appt with me. At first he wasn’t allowed to due to COVID. This is my first baby and I had a miscarriage in the past so I was very anxious attending appts by myself. I informed her of my dx of anxiety and a couple of coping skills I use and could be useful when I deliver, I’m willing to bet money she does not recall that information Twice I complained of a sharp pain on the right side of my belly, she ordered blood work but never explained to me why or what could be causing the pain. When I asked about birth classes she told me people find them on their own, only for me to find out that the app NYP uses has birthing class webinars In the beginning of my pregnancy I expressed concern about GD due to family history of diabetes, she said I could see a nutritionist but never provided a referral or ever followed up until my glucose test.

This was my first visit with Dr. Smith and my experience was excellent. She has a bubbly personality which helped calm my anxiety. She explained everything she did and answered my questions. She did not rush through my visit and that is a huge plus. I definitely recommend Dr. Smith.

Dr. Smith is an amazing Ob! From my very first visit, it was very clear that she was on top of her game, and had me and my baby’s best interest at heart... I was very nervous throughout my pregnancy, but she always eased my fears with her great bubbly personality... when it came time for my delivery, she coached and coached me and kept me positive, even when I was losing hope... now I have a beautiful baby... she’s awesome, and can’t wait to have her for my next delivery!

I would definitely recommend Dr. Smith for your obgyn and gyn needs. She is caring, takes time with her patients and is very calm and positive during delivery.

I recently moved to Florida and established care with Dr. Smith at Women’s Care Florida. I have since had my annual visit, an IUD placed, and a couple follow up visits. Dr. Smith is clearly educated and confident in her skills. She’s a people person and very down to earth. I felt very comfortable with her, sharing my issues, and finding a resolution was easy because she is so welcoming. Her sense of humor is great! And she’s always super quick, never seems to be behind! Great doctor, I would absolutely recommend Dr. Smith to my friends!

Dr Smith is was one of the most caring doctors I ever met! I been a patient of her for the past 2 years and delivered my daughter with her. She listens to what you have to say and takes her time with you. I would recommend dr Smith to anyone who is looking for a OBGYN doctor!!
